This won’t mean much to the 1M PlayStation owners who only play Call of Duty. A $70 game is less than $204/year for GamePass Ultimate. But Microsoft gets their money either way.

The lowest common denominator isn’t after great games. Look at xDefiant player numbers.

“Why did PS copy gamepass”

This is a long story that spans decades. Sony subscription services for games (PS+ and PS Now) before Microsoft. Sony and Microsoft weren’t the only ones. We’ve seen OnLive die, Google’s Stadia die, and disc rental services die. What made Game Pass successful is the amount of money Microsoft is able to lose. Everyone expected Sony to offer a one-to-one Game Pass competitor and they did. To actually make money, Somy sells its own games for at least...

Witcher 1 looks like ass. Until we see a transfer, there is no getting around it.

Are Dragon Age games and Baldur’s Gate games a continuation of the same story or at least the same character? Even still, need some connection to make a trilogy. Lord of the Rings is a trilogy. Star Wars is a trilogy. James Bond 1-3 is not a trilogy. It’s just more movies with James Bond.

How many RPG trilogies are there? Mass Effect. The Witcher. That’s about it as far as I know. You could say Final Fantasy 1-3 is a RPG trilogy except they are separate stories and the series went on for 20 more games. Just saying that with enough caveats, any clickbait headline can be true.

I’d be cool with the PSVR2 games on Premium except I have a couple years of PS+ Extra and I can’t just upgrade to Premium for 1 month to play Ghostbusters.

Exputer is discussing a rumor for clickbait. If the PS5 pro is announced, Exputer will publish a clickbait article telling you to buy it.

“Detroit Become Human” is amazing. You should go back and finish it.

Microsoft literally pays studios an upfront, flat fee. This removes risk and fills the studios bank account immediately instead of over time. For some games that would never sell well, this is a no risk option at launch. But it all depends on how much Microsoft is willing to pay. If anything, Game Pass and $80B in studio purchases has given Microsoft too much bargaining power over studios and publishers.

This is silly.

Bloodborne is sandpaper on my eyes. I’m seriously waiting for a remake or remaster before going back to it.

By “save them” you mean make more profit for Microsoft. Xbox will still be a dying hardware platform.

I found this video painful to watch. Can someone list them out?

Top 10 for me from are:
1. 2013 reveal presentation
2. Bundling Kinect 2 with Xbox One
3. RRoD or why rushing to market with hardware is always a bad idea.
4. Buying studios only to close them.
5. Ads on the Home Screen
6. Letting Halo die.
7. Letting Geard of War die.
8. Every console name
9. Charging for Xbox Live on Xbox 360 w...

The only heat that “Starfield” will get is a PS5 release.

“Developers yes in most cases developers like tinkering with all systems and pushing them.”

You’re talking about hobbyists. Developers do this for a living. Studios and publishers do this to make money. They only want to publish games on systems that generate money.

FYI, the “Major Rockstar Release” is also a game.

The age of AA shooters. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. I like less expense, shorter games.
