I dunno these journo's are they born yesterday or something ? It is widely known why Microsoft keeps xbox 360 games off the PC if they can. Here is a DIRECT quote from Peter Zetterberg head honcho at Microsoft Game Studios :-
"If we launch a game that is on 360 and PC simultaneously, we basically shoot ourselves in the foot by allowing the German market to choose to play the PC version -- because they are more likely to buy that than spend their money on the Xbox 3...
no they didn't, whenever someone asked them about GTA 4 on the PC they would say "we do not comment on unannounced titles". Not ONCE did they ever say "we have no plans for a PC version of GTA 4".
Well being a PC gamer I wouldn't know since this game isn't available on the PC yet for some reason we still keep getting these RDR news posts in the PC channel.
Oh and for those gong "PC gamers will get it later" that may or may not be true but the official line is "no PC version planned". So until it is announced on the PC I think it is only proper that the PC channel should be RDR free.
Oh yeah right "casual" gaming that term can mean so much I personally consider gaming on a console to be "casual" gaming myself. However whatever label you want to give it the fact is farmville is a game that 32 million people play on a daily basis.
Now not all of those 32 million people will be interested in blur but it is still a massive audience that developers wouldn't mind tapping into by linking their games with facebook.
Hm I believe farmville is a game and that has nearly 32 million people using it on a daily basis. So I would say it is correct "Gaming on Facebook is huuuuuge".
Whilst something will come along eventually to replace the monitor I very much doubt it will be these head mounted jobbies.
Ha got to love it a game trying to bring awareness to sexually transmitted diseases doesn't please Microsoft. Still the PC version will come out and it will be free. I guess there is something to be said for having a gaming platform not having a mega-corp being in control of every little thing.
You really do have to wonder about the "quality" of some of these articles. I mean for a starters if you are going to have a top 10 of PC games don't include 3 console ports, it would also help if you didn't have two slots used up for Half Life 2 and Orange Box.
It also seems such a shame the list only caters for modern games. I am surprised there is no X wing in there. But then lets face it the PC has such a rich diverse history it is an impossible task p...
Yeah I have to admit when I first heard the news about Fable 3 I was quite "pleased" I had hoped it indicated a turning point for Microsoft and a renewed desire to support PC gaming.
Now the details are emerging I should have guessed there was something "more" behind all this "hey PC guys we love you really, in fact we love you so much we are going to bring fable 3 to the PC".
I saw a post on another board earlier and they were s...
Ha good luck to Microsoft on this one, I reckon they have left it too little too late to get a strangle hold on the DD market. It isn't particularly inspiring that they have started this with Fable 3. It seems most PC gamers were quite happy to live without Fable 2 I can't see number 3 making them go "OMGZ I got to use GFWL on demand from now on".
If anything not releasing this game on steam will inevitably kill sales of the title leading to claims of &quo...
As far as I am aware Rockstar never said they wouldn't do a PC version of GTA 4 they always stated "we cannot comment on unannounced titles".
However you kinda missed the point of my post a lil bit, I was merely seeking to get submitters attention about the continual spam of RDR articles being posted to the PC channel.
Now this game may or may not come to the PC no one knows. However at this moment in time it is NOT on the PC and therefore all ...
You know if they did their job out of the kindness of their heart I would quite happily thank them. However they don't they provide a product and I pay for that product with my hard earned cash. I work hard for my money and too often I end up buying games that are bugged, unfinished and have amateur mistakes in them.
I would say it is time developers actually thanked US for putting up with appalling levels of customer service and quality control. But no not when it com...
I am just wondering will it take 5 years for news submitters to get the hint that this game is NOT available on the PC. The devs have stated that they have no plans to bring it to the PC so will you please keep RDR stories to xbox 360 and PS3 channels only.
I know if PC news submitters started spamming the xbox and PS3 channels with news about Starcraft 2 no one would like it so the same goes for the PC channel.
more like "save game editor 4tw" that way you can bypass the whole sorry excuse for a mini game altogether.
Wow I can't believe how underwhelmed I am that fable 3 is coming to the PC. About the only thing this news brings to the table for me is that it might signal a new stance from Microsoft about not screwing the PC over.
Well it certainly is a new take on a "oh noes steam will conquer the world". Firstly the no internet argument is getting a bit old and tired. Naturally if you have a naff internet service steam isn't for you. However it is entirely feasible that in the future stores will have a system set up so you can burn the game to disc and then when you get home install the game and do a quick one time authentication of your game and hey presto. I like to think pretty much everyone in t...
The overall story about combating the reapers can remain largely untouched and left for Mass Effect 3. However there are certain aspects of the storyline that can be touched upon without affecting the main story arch. If you need an example there is Liara, The Rachna and what is happening with the Geth and Migrant fleet (trying not to spoil it here).
I don't see how any one can complain about nickel and diming with Mass Effect 2 I got over 200 hours out of the game befo...
Personally I welcome this myself, I was getting tired of playing DLC that has pretty much nothing to do with the story line. There are an awful lot of loose ends that need tying up and it is difficult to see how Bioware could tie them all up in Mass Effect 3. So using the DLC for Mass Effect 2 to tie up these loose ends seems perfect to me.
I don't understand people going "well if you haven't played the DLC you won't know what is going on". Well if yo...
What amazes me is that this is a story about a PC mod and yet again here we have PS3 owners coming in going "oh pfft the PS3 could do that". I don't see xbox 360 owners coming in here saying rubbish like that.
The price difference between console games and PC games is nearly always around £10 (which is around $20 in your money). There is a reason for that the reason being "console royalty fee". When you buy a console game at least £10 goes direct to either Microsoft or Sony (even if they had nothing to do with the game).
In reality developers get just as much money PER COPY from PC gamers as they do from console gamers. The extra you console gamers pay goes s...
