For first party, MS has everything to prove. Sony has a arm long list of exclusives to prove they can set the bar for an entire generation graphic wise.

Almost an impossible task in my opinion, PR was so much pumped, cloudy, confusing and contradictory that I am afraid that whatever they show it can not be sufficient.

Before FF7 remake, it was my preferred FF game. I don’t know exactly why but I really enjoy the way Square is handling the characters in FF since XV. Plus, game world got a very strong personality.
I really felt being part of a journey with friends, and the twist in the start screen after beating the game was very touching.
Anyway, regarding the article, it was very dispensable: only new update feature remove in the patch.
Interesting article. I think third party dev will continue to support the Switch, it is something like 50 millions machines market they will not let down.
But for sure, it will not be possible to make direct switch ports of SX/PS5. But something like derivatives games, or heavy reworked games to fit Switch limitation but also takes advantage of its attributes can be a way to follow. Something like what is done with the 3DS.

As soon as the trailer started during PS5 event, it made me a strong « resident evilesque » feeling, so it seems the filiation is there.
But for sure this will not be like the old manor/sewer/secret lab RE pattern and this is for good. RE7 made a bold move for the series in term of gameplay, i’m glad they are still exploring on this way.
RE remake lineup is the one for those who search for a more traditional experience,wait for RE4 remake on that front....

Not sure the circuit used in GT Sports for this comparison is the best choice. I think grass an trees are much better in GT7.

That’s a little bit easy. Their is nothing preventing them to « steal the show » even without e3. PS5 event proves that online presentation can have massive impact.
If this is so good, don’t mourn about E3 and give sa more positive message on July event instead of saying that is cannot do justice to your work.
PR side of Phil is a marketing tool of Xbox division. He is the good cop, praising competition, caring for gamers cringes.
