Jokes aside, technically the writer is correct in saying that, in real world use, the Xbox One won't be a full "50% slower" but the above quote from Eurogame...

Seriously though, I can't wait until we get to see the PS4 so we can put these beasties side by side and get a good comparison.
I'm seeing gameplay videos of previously announced PS4 games on top of a few exclusive reveals for other Sony first party studios in my crystal ball(s).
We know for certain there will be a first look at live Destiny gameplay from the latest trailer, seems Activision and Sony are in bed with this game.
So it's important to gamers, especially those who only have one console and if a manufacturer chooses to focus on things other than games it could lead to less games for them to play.

Didn't PS3 overtake Xbox 360 in sales 'officially' (vgchartz officially lol) recently? Looks like Sony's gamers focus is working to me.
The hullabaloo over Xbox one is not just the usual fanboy wars, people are angry because of the infringements on their rights as consumers and are worried over privacy issues.

I see your point, it's completely unrealistic in that respect but what would a Burnout style wreckage really bring to the game except the need to restart or, even crazier, rewind time and try again?
Two completely unrealistic methods of keeping a player in the game without any frustrating restarts. As far as actual driving mechanics go though, I maintain that GT easily takes pole position.

In no shape or form are Forza's physics better than GT5's. Forza is a great game but one of the main draws of Gran Turismo are the mindbogglingly accurate physics and car handling. Sorry, while I respect your opinion, I have to strongly disagree; I'm actually completely puzzled how you even came to that conclusion.
There are some decent points hidden among the interminable lists, however, I must point out that your personal attachment to a brand has rendered you defensive to the point of delusion. There has been no "bashing" of Microsoft in the media, well at least in respect to gaming anyway. What you are perceiving as personal insults are actually just wild speculation in the light of very little actual news coming from MS themselves.

Most places here in the UK at least are already taking pre-orders for PS4 so not sure how MS would be getting "a jump on Sony".
I really hope they have some kind of counter that tells you how many people are watching it live so we can get an article by some muppet telling us how because xbox got 42 more people watching than PS4 it will 'dominate' next gen. /s
