Destiny is looking great, let's not spoil it with ridiculous labels.
Sounds like a poor man saying 'money doesn't make you happy' to me.
Ah, I see now, the 196gb/s is the theoretical number and 133gb/s is the realistic number.
"Theoretical peak performance is one thing, but in real-life scenarios, it's believed that 133GB/s throughput has been achieved with certain ESRAM operations"
Great news, if this theoretical 133mb/s can be achieved for real it brings the Xb One a little closer to PS4s 176gb/s meaning closer graphical fidelity for all platforms.
I think the 50% figure was derived from the GPU CUs that you mentioned in your other comment.
Android is a great platform and I would love to see see what the money and power at Google could do for gaming.
This is good, I would imagine the ambiguity around the exact date is holding off pre-orders. Amazon has it listed as 31st Dec IIRC lol.
Xb One uses DDR3 RAM and 32mb of esram to try and make up for low speed of DDR3. The esram solution means that Xb One has a more complicated architecture than PS4.
To answer your question, yes but not to the same extent as PS4. You should read digital foundries analysis of both consoles...

Forbes did say that...

This article is pure self-indulgent, narcissistic posturing on MS's part.
I disagreed with both!
What now?
I agree that we should let Xb One stand on it's own now that the DRM is removed and all but the author just sounds like an upset apologist.
That's not what I got...

Steampunk Uncharted, yes please.
That adds up to... wait for it...
599 US Dollars
:P
How do Kotaku still have 3 star rating on this site?
Why even spread such hate?
“The action they (Microsoft) took amount to the little boy putting the cookie back in the jar after being caught.”
Haha well said, however, the article goes on to paint a grim picture of gamers as stubborn grudge holders who are incapable of forgiving and forgetting. It even quotes some random reader comment as evidence.
Personally I can forgive MS their past transgressions as long as they reassure me that they won't go back into the cookie jar, at least...
Clearly there's nothing I can say that will make you even the little bit more optimistic about future graphics, at least on a console anyway. Hey, I'm a PC gamer too but I can also enjoy the convenience and features of console gaming without the dramatics.
Anyway all I want to point out is that either you believe that The Dark Sorcerer is CGI despite the video evidence I provided you in my last comment OR you have mistaken the meaning of CGI for something else entire...
Yeah, I've heard that comparison all over and it really does.
"powah of teh cell"
is now
"powah of teh cloud"
it's official (not official).
Generalisations are fun.
OT: This means game game turnover will be quicker and therefore more games for us, this is Amazing news.
