I wouldn't go so far to say any of those games are crap. There's just too many other bigger releases than them that are overshadowing them. Personally, I bloody loved Dead Space. Mirror's Edge is a good concept with only decent execution, and Prince of Persia is pretty darn good until it gets repetetive.
And yeah, I wish brilliant games like Valkyria Chronicles would get more love. That and Tales of Vesperia are my favorite games this year in terms of graphics, but that's most ...
Well, I wouldn't call it brainwashed. I'd say it's either lost faith due to too many poor ports to the PS3 or just being a fanboy. No way to tell, but given the norm on this site, I'm guessing the latter of the two.
But yeah, this isn't a port anyway...
I lol'd when I saw the disagrees to your comment. I guess people really are losing faith in Square.
Some people just don't know their gaming history, and they spout such nonsense. As far as I'm concerned, Square has no alliances. They left Nintendo after 6 main titles and 4(I think?) Gameboy titles as well as Mystic Quest on the SNES (and don't forget the other non-FF titles too!), and now they're moving on to multiplat.
Also, I imagine developing for the 360 is a lot easier than the PS3. Many developers have said this, and due to the very different nature of the PS3's hardwa...
This article made me remember that I didn't have time to eat breakfast this morning before work.
=(
Oh yeah, and Blu-ray has plenty of time to catch up, just like DVD did with VHS. It'll phase in slowly just like DVD.
FEAR does have amazing gameplay. It just tends to be overlooked since the console ports were really lacking. Let's hope they get the console versions right this time around.
Yeah, I don't bloody get it. Besides, how does Netflix count as hardware anyway? That crap is software on the console's hard drive. PS3 should win simply because it doesn't break all the time.
I love my 360 for all the software features and game support, but the hardware is fossilized brontosaurus dung.
It's nice news, but it's going to be a pain for Wii users to store all the tracks they want unless they find a way to really majorly cut down on the track size.
I can't say I agree with MGS4 not being on the top 10, but hey, everyone is entitled to their own tastes.
1. Some people don't like long cutscenes.
2. Some people don't like mature, intelligent themes in games.
Some people just don't like MGS4's long cutscenes and mature themes. It's kind of understandable with how little people care about thinking these days. People love mindless games. Wii is proof of that. It's sad but true.
Also, it's nice to finally see Crysis Warhead get a little recognition. I love that game.
I guess it's kinda true. I'm generally a pretty calm person IRL, but when I play video games, I feel the need to do better and top everyone, and I get kinda annoyed with myself when I don't perform up to my standards. At least I don't yell at the TV, though, haha.
Ditto. Dead Space gave me hope that EA isn't just a money hog. That game has one of the best atmospheres I've ever seen in a game. I guess it also helps that I'm a Doom nut, and it's such a similar environment to Doom 3.
It sure is a bloody great series. Castle Crashers has taken its place at the top of my list, though. I love games that don't take themselves seriously.
Major in sales, but crap in games. Go Nintendo!
At least the games Nintendo does make are good at least, but they really need more quality support.
I'm suprised that nobody is complaining about MGS4 not winning the Action/Adventure category for the PS3. Either the usual complainers haven't seen this article yet or you guys are being awesome today! We all win in the end anyway. I'm glad the article stated that.
So they want to charge you to use Office software? I smell more people getting OpenOffice.
People like you just encourage the 360 fanboys to be idiots. How about we just all enjoy the games instead of arguing about them? Yeah, Killzone 2 is going to be great, but it's not going to change the world or anything. Neither will any 360 game. They're just freaking games after all. I'm getting tired of people spouting fanboy crap on this site.
Splinter Cell's original release was November 2008...haven't heard much about it since. Makes me wonder what the heck happened to it.
Two moths left? Where are they? I'll smash them for you!
All I can say is most of you people care way too much about the console war. Enjoy your darn games!
