Well, LotR has had it's fair share of good games. The Two Towers and Return of the King weren't too shabby, and Third Age was a pretty solid RPG. And of course there's LotR Online.
There's plenty of good franchises that have gotten much worse treatment, like Superman.
I think I've only had about 2 freezes myself, so not too bad I guess, but less are always welcome.
He's obviously not that good at Doom if he needs god mode to take out a Baron of Hell with his fists.
But yeah, there's really no reason to not have god mode. All the devs have to do is disable achievements for the rest of a game once a cheat is activated, making the only way to get them playing through without a single cheat. Some games have done it before, so how hard can it really be?
bewareoblivionisathand? =)
It was quite fun to trick the game into letting you coop the bosses with those cheats.
It has promise, and such bugs can always be worked out on a PC.
"Maybe they should just put the old girl out of her misery."
You make it sound like we're going to kill her and melt her down for glue, haha.
The problem is that people that speak the English language don't even know it that well. Go edumacation!
Would be nice, but with Sony and MS as competitors, it'll never happen.
Seeing that neither is out yet, I think we'll have to wait a little to decide that one =)
One thing is for sure, both will be awesome online.
Well, from what I read, it seems that they want players to be hostages. That could make for an interesting twist, but it would be tough to do it right.
Also, is this just wishful thinking from a writer or is this actually dev talk? It doesn't really say anywhere.
I always thought that little guy was kinda cute XD
Jason, just about every instance you mentioned can be done by a simple fan. Now if said person lashes out against the other team, another band, etc. with no justification, then maybe they can be called a fanboy. Better go get yourself one of those shoehorns...
Too bad for all those Wii owners that they only get like 6 good games each year, if even that many.
The games are garbage because devs don't care to make amazing games for the stupid casual market. They'll buy anything and think it's good just because you can flail your arms like a moron to it.
And the DS and Wii are also the best selling systems in the US. Go figure. Casuals are taking over the gaming market. It's pretty much the trend everywhere these days.
Imagine the wacky fun of this game with the technical capabilities of GTA4. That would be bloody amazing. The only thing holding this game back IMO are the technical shortcomings (framerate, freezing, glitches).
Don't forget urinating and crotch grabbing.
Oh come on, we all know the Wii doesn't count.
/sarcasm
Ju, that's why he said REALLY. If somebody wants to avoid Blu-ray that badly, they could with a little extra effort than going to your local retailer.
I'll agree with you on everything but the game library. The PS3 definitley caught up to the 360 in 2008, and PC always has good games.
There's a couple free things (I stress couple) on Live, but yeah, they mostly suffer from suckage too. Aegis Wing is quite fun for free, though.
