Yikes, that's one heck of a monitor. I wish I could play on a setup like that. I'm still using my good old 17", haha. I probably would have spent double what I did if I wasn't a cheapskate. Also, I guess it helps that I already had a monitor. Forgot to factor that into it.
Couldn't have said it better myself Montrealien. Have a bubble.
Also, is it just me, or have you not been around for a while?
@Below
Haha, I know that feeling. I had to break my WoW addiction over the summer for the sake of school =)
That is indeed a better phrase, my friend.
So what happened to the many months earlier in the year that the PS3 was outselling the 360? You're talking about 1 month, and the economy + price cut = lots of sales for MS. The PS3 is doing mighty fine for its higher price point if you ask me.
I still need to buy Skate 1 XD
Good thing I have gift cards!
Sabotage maybe? o.O
That would make a juicy story!
Yeah, from what we can see right now, PS3 definitley has the winning lineup, but there's still plenty of time for Microsoft to announce new games, and they need some big ones to keep up with Sony this year, so they might just have something up their sleeves. This year might just be amazing for both consoles again.
Well Jager, since I already have a 360, I can't really justify paying $400 right now for a few extra good games with how the economy is, so his point is valid in some cases. For those without a console already, it's a tossup.
Makes you wonder why some of these people even have any bubbles at all, right?
Consoles are always white, black, grey, or silver. So boring. At least N64 had different colors. I had transparent purple, haha.
Dang that's an expensive PC Fishy. Mine is a step under top of the line and it cost me 1/3 of that.
First of all Beg, it helps if you reply to the right comment. Second, it's true that the PS3 was lacking games at the start. Some people blew it way out of proportion, though. But you starting flame wars by saying he's trying to say the 360 beats the PS3 by simply posting a couple of screenshots is just adding fuel to the flames dude. If people would just chill out on this site, we'd have less fighting over which console is better.
At least on this site PS3 fanboys outweigh the 360 ones. Apparently the balance was the other way a year ago from what I've heard. I'm sure other sites have it different.
On topic, this game is definitly looking interesting so far. I'm looking forward to seeing how it'll turn out. Also, tornadoes? O.o
Well, it's console exclusive at least, right? ;)
I also laugh when I see the word "exclusive" and it's on PC as well.
It might have been a small factor, but MS makes money from so many different products that the 360 pricecut probably only accounted for a small portion of the revenue loss.
The thing is Jager, most FPS games tend to be dark. It just fits the mood of war much better than rainbows. I don't know why people complain so much about it. It's just something fanboys like to point out to make the other console's game look bad.
I hear ya on that one bud. Consoles are extremely convenient. Sometimes you just want to sit back in your couch and enjoy a game. Can't really do that on a PC unless you hook it into your TV and play with a controller. I play both my 360 and PC from my computer desk, though, so I don't get that luxury. No couch in my room XD
Nice to see one of their guys recognize RB6V2. That game kinda just dropped off of the map. It's still pretty darn fun to play with friends cooperatively.
Definitely can't top L4D, though.
Yeah, it's sad that it has to happen, but it's stuff like this that keeps large corporations profitable. It's just the nature of business unfortunately.
I don't think a $500 PC would run this. PC games are always going to look better than their console counterparts, but you get what you pay for in the case of a PC. Better graphics = much more money spent.
