Kinda true. It seems good games out of Japan are much fewer these days than they used to be, but I suppose that comes with the growth of popularity of gaming in other areas of the world.
Edit: Now that I think of it, it might just be other releases overshadowing them.
The problem with that Death is that it was still a JRPG in nature. It just used a Western engine. If they were to make a game along the lines of Oblivion or Fable, it probably would have been a lot more popular in the West. Not saying it was a bad game, though. Sure, it had technical issues, but I thought it was pretty cool. I just think they could have done a better job at appealing to the West.
Indeed. Now I want to know if they actually liked it or not.
Exactly why everyone should just stop caring about sales, reviews, etc., and just enjoy the games they love.
Yeah, I'm afraid to start up my 360 version. Makes me wish I had a memory card to back it up on. I think I'll wait a little to play to be sure it won't happen.
I got a laugh out of it at least.
Nobody ever mentions Ninja Gaiden 2 when they talk about 360 games.. I wuv that game. May not have been the best ever, but it was solid.
I better get an invitation if it is.
I wouldn't call it dominated, but Sony is doing bloody well for having a higher price point. It just shows that the PS3 isn't the failed, overly priced console so many fanboys like to say it is. I would have agreed with that early in its life ($600 blah), but Sony has done a great job to bring everything together now. I wouldn't have shelled out money for one earlier this year, but now I regret that I can't afford to get one.
Oh come on. Everyone knows Wii Sports is clearly the best game ever based on sales figures!
Sad but true.
Well, the 360 has always been doing pretty well. 2008 was the year that Sony finally pulled everything together nicely IMO. This year, both consoles are going to be awesome yet again, and the Wii will continue to sell like hotcakes while only having 6-7 good new games.
Third time's the charm? Maybe?
One can only hope...
Looks like it's going to be the year of both consoles if the promising looking titles put out.
No need to fight when we're all getting good games.
The major one was the bug with that one monk quest, but they did fix that recently.
It's certainly a good thing that you can do that with a USB drive.
Well, I guess I'm glad I don't have the PS3 version, but why do devs always manage to mess up stuff only on the PS3? It bloody sucks.
Too many games have issues where patches mess up previous saves. It shouldn't happen, period.
I'd like to see Delta Force revived. The first game was my first online love affair.
Would definitely be cool to see a sequel. Bungie needs to get off of Halo and try new things. It would sell well simply because of their name these days.
He already made games that were like good playable movies in the MGS series, so why not a full fledged movie? I wouldn't doubt him for a second.
