Do pc gamers really care about ubisoft games?
when i see their releases this gen all i see are repeatfests:
prince of persia check
AC1 check
AC2 check
farcry 2 check
There aint nothing good Ubi has done so far. Sure the console gamers will run out to buy anything the media rates 9/10 which is mostly happening for almost every game out.

Id like to see both the console makers drop the 10-15usd per game tax. Now that will be a true cut in prices.
After that they may as well stick to selling both the consoles to 350-400usd would be just fine.
Its a shame companies like Microsoft and Sony have to resort to deluding ppl.

Id take a pc anyday.
PC's the only platform out there which doesnt have any marketing behind it. Yet its been the longest supported platform out there.
Leaving aside Nintendo its PC devs making the most $$ aka blizzard and valve. We hear all the console developers shut down or complaining about low profits. ps3 is just as primitive as the 360 when compared to even a midrange pc.

lol true, i seen 8800gtx run some of the current gen games @ 2560*1600, any console would throw a fit and die even before attempting that res.
is there even a point to this comparison. We know even a 2-3yr old pc running with a 8800gtx rips the 360 apart in just about any game.

you need motionjoy and you can use the ds3 on almost any of todays pc titles. wired or wireless.
Awesome valve you need to stand up for the PC. Its almost as if its your platform.
could even play with the ps3 controller if you like. wirelessly, thats what i do for these kinda games.

cheapest solution for multiplats would be to get a 150usd gpu for your pc.
then get all the games at a reduced price and play them all @1080p 60fps+ thats something no console can do(for all the games, even ps3 with its 400+titles released only does 1080p in about 25games).

unfortunately console owners are constantly brainwashed by their respective company.
Sony in this regard has done a good job at brainwashing its fanbase that disk space = better graphics, which is true to a certain extent however fanbois misinterpret it and think bigger disk space = higher res, which is not true.

funny part is when a multiplat is out on the xbox and the ps3. If the xbox is even slightly superior the same users saying graphics dont matter will get chant about better graphics on xbox lol.
However when the game is out on pc and xbox, the xbox gets slaughtered all the time by a large margin. The same ppl will come up and say graphics dont matter. We are fine paying a premium for the inferior version.

why does it work?
less then 10% of console games do 1080p. Even the ones that do 1080p have very low to no AA.
For some of us even 1080p is last gen now. I currently plat at a res of 5760*1080p @ 60fps. Thats about 6 times higher then the current 720p standard lol.
8800gtx is so old now you will be lucky to find it anywhere and there is no point in doing so cause around the 100-150usd mark you an find great gpus that will last the entire gen. play all games maxed out the price of the gpus is paid back due to cheaper cost of games on PC.
Lastly MMO is a whole different game. People prefer to have UI mods so they can play game to their comfort. I am not a fan japanese RPGS infact i cant stand them. However MMO is the last genere id like to ...
