Tell that to the 25million users on steam alone. PC has steadily been growing year on year, 2009 saw 3% growth over 2008.

I think the game hasnt been well optimised, wait for a patch, driver update it should be fine.
my laptop is year old now. its slightly weaker to what a top of the line pc would have been 3 yrs back. hence it plays this game maxed out.
Hence if someone would have bought a 1000usd pc back when ps3 was 600usd. then it will still play this game maxed out in dx 10 60fps.
Also a friend of mine has a 8800gtx (which is 3yrs old now, released when the ps3 released) it plays this game maxed out, which is better then what the ps3 can do. Not only that, throw any mul...

prices are really low. I know i got disagree for mentioning a 800watt powersupply. its just that prices are so low on this that wether you go for 600 watt supply or 800 watt the difference is only 30-40usd.

300 watts is very low.
I would recommend an upgrade to atleast 800 watts(i know thats a bit high, however due to small price differences i would recommend it. Its good for future upgrades as well).
Graphics cards have become power hungry now. A midrange 5xxx series gpu will easily need 150watts of power. Add in the Cpu and other parts id say 400-500 watts would be needed easy.

Seen the PC Versions of both games running. Imo BC2 looks current gen. MW2 looks outdated even on a PC.

Highend cards these days are an overkill.

2.6ghz dual core cpu
GTX 260M (equal to a 8800gt, hence 3yrs old in comparison to modern day gpus)
4gb ram
Game runs @ 60fps+ 1080p, better then any console can play it.
The example alone defeats the myth of constant upgrades.
they should put it up agaisnt the 5870.
GTX470 should be put up against the 5850.
Its cool the GTX 480 is slightly smaller, people with smaller casings can consider this one as an option.

its the 5970 which is compared in this pic, which is a dual gpu solution which is why the large size. the 5870 is comparable to GTX480 in size, hence the rest of the 5xxx series is fine for smaller casings.
Havent played wow for a longtime. How is the pvp now, are things close to balanced?
what sort of disconnects and login failures are you talking about? i havent experienced any with 30hours of gameplay so far.
Also id rather play the game with higher res and 60fps+ rather then sub 30fps and 720p.
The console version and pc version both have their problems.. saying the pc version sucks is naive imo since its best version to get.

Id rather pay the 400gbp on the PC which would do a lot more and actually play games in 1080p vs 576p.
Its not just about games here Ali, the PC does alot more the extra 100-200gbp is a bargain.
