Did you even bother to read my post. 80% of PC sales are now digital, This has been confirmed by the PC Gaming Alliance.

NPD doesnt track Digital sales. Think you owned yourself with your remarks.

Dont think most PC gamers here have been to a retail shop in years. Personally i havent bought a game from retail in 2years, with over 80games bought on steam now.

Dont worry consoles are playing catch up just like usual, 5years from now when things start...

@vulcanproject

That is exactly the issue next gen consoles will have to face. The power consumption. A 5970 would require 400watts of power to run at full power, the fan would need to be turned up to 100% speed to dissapate all that heat(sounds like a jet engine, already tried my 5970 at speeds it was originally intended to run at but then couldnt due to the ATX spec limit of 300watts).

I turned the GPU back down to stock levels since there is no game that warran...

Pc had more software sales then all consoles combined last year.

Also like it or not its consoles holding back the industry. Developers are greedy, which is why they tend to design their games for all 3 platforms (pc, 360, ps3).

Due to this, its gotten to a point where even 3yr old hardware like the 8800gtx play all of todays games @ 1080p maxed out(something consoles cant do). This wouldnt have been true if we were back in 2000, since graphics would have moved o...

lol you need to get your facts straight.

latest reports say 80% of pc software sales are now digital. Steam reported a 200% sales increase over last year.

Software sales on Pc last year were in excess of 13billion thats more then all consoles united.

Next gen consoles will easily do 1080p with 4x-8xAA on the games we see today.

Just like a Ps3 or Xbox 360 could run games back from 2000 at 1080p today, if it was ported with the same textures.

However when the next gen comes out, games will be that much more demanding and if they get anywhere near reality(which we are still really far from), then you may still be seeing jaggies.

On another note, Technically while gpus have been getting stronger s...

Racing games are easier to render at higher resolutions, compared to an FPS game or a third person shooter. Even then from what i recall GT5 isnt 1920*1080p, its 1280*1080p huge difference there.

Consoles are mostly played on TV's at a distance. Both of these factors help iron out Jaggies on the console. Though yea most games cant run at 1080p on consoles due to hardware limitations.

No point having a game run @ 1080p then taking a frame rate hit.

Wonder what the original one would have looked like with Eyefinity. Oh well this one should be awesome.

certainly they are. their customers are feeling it.

RROD + charges to go online + lack of exclusives = kicking ass

5783d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment

Microsofts done everything they can to milk money this generation:

Lauch the gen with a higher price per game(that itself is alot).

Charge for online.

Delude the customer into thinking the xbox is cheap, sell super expensive accessories later(usually 400% market price). Ensure no other vendor can sell those accessories(just bad ethics).

Start the trend of Dlcs (now we have dlcs announced just as games are announced sounds fishy). Ini...

usa /= to the world

in many regions microsoft warranty is not valid. good luck trying to get a xbox repaired in the middle east, your only bet is getting a new one.

Owned a Commodore 64 back in the original Nes days. Was a good combo to have back then.

5783d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Dam you bought this crap 3 times already. I personally know people who have bought xbox 2 times atleast. Then given up gaming on the Xbox all together.

Buying the same crap 4 times over will be epic, thought console gaming was supposed to be cheap.. nvm.

@sikbeta

Well Ubisoft is determined to lose its genuine buyers. They will learn the hard way, and yes the game is using a UE2 modified engine surprising the xbox is still not capable of running such an old engine in a mere 720p.

Well Microsoft arent exactly known for their business ethics be it the way they bully other companies or the way they treat the xbox userbase.

@spiderman

DRM doesnt effect me since i got a good connection. however i wont be getting this game, not until Ubisoft removes the DRM.

Too many games out on PC in March to care about this one.

Top 3 reasons why this game fails.

1. 576p
2. 30fps
3. DRM on the version originaly marketed and hyped.
