Journalism at its finest.
OT: Uh, no.
You expected a prequel to do what past GoW titles did? Seems you understand little of how they perform, but I hope to see you as enthusiastic when Gears: Judgment receives similar treatment ;)
You should try to share in the logic. Instead, your behavior isn't one that reflects someone seeking knowledgeable, fair posters.
Shame you wasted your lonesome bubble on exposing just how insignificant you are to this site.
Excellent post!
Why even bother posting when you don't know what you're talking about?
OT: Of course they want to take market-share from their closest competitor. I'd be worried for PS4 if that WASN'T one of its goals.
Some of the things you're posting actually aren't true. Number 1, The Liverpool/Zipper guys were moved to other studios.
Number 2, just because people have jobs at a certain co. doesn't mean they like it (and it's moot anyway, since nobody has a clue about it here).
Interesting that you always attack Sony when they have little or nothing to do with the subject.
Edit: Disagree if you'd like, but hard to argue when you don&...
It would seem you're displaying a bit of an inferiority complex, my friend. Nothing wrong with being excited about an advanced feature.
OT: I'm playing it right now, with a GTX 690, and while there is a bit of a performance hit, the difference between TressFX enabled/disabled is night-and-day. The hair moves so much better with it!
Er, what?
Yes, but logic is, often, secondary to agendas.
Nothing, just some can't stand to see their favored brand not hyped in the same way. Annoying, yes, but easy to ignore, especially someone with one bubble who has clearly been around the block more than he was invited to be. ;)
It's a good thing most people here don't take you seriously. You talk a lot of nonsense, even the bubbles don't like you.
OT: This game is going to change this sub-genre forever. Even with the PS4 now on it's way in under a year, the wait for this game is killa!
And what limited info lead you to that conclusion?
Eh, not sure if you do development, but as a Designer, I can tell you what you said isn't true. Hair is actually one of the staples of what devs try to simulate, and this is a substantial move forward.
Help me understand what backwards compatibility has to do with used games. You combined to things that have zero bearing on each other. Just because Sony disabled PS2 BC on newer PS3 models doesn't mean they'll stop supporting used games.
And from where I'm sitting, the PS3 has continued to live without much hassle, despite the loss of PS2 BC.
Isn't it a more REAListic feature?
I actually find the AI in Crysis 3 to be quite decent. The conversations they have are pretty grounded in reality, which you don't get often in games. Their reactions to your cloaking and such, brilliant!
The problem with what you're saying here is it sounds like more of a rant on every single thing they showed, rather than observing the fair balance of content displayed. It was just what a "hype" conference needed, even though I agree that some of the games there don't pique my interest.
But therein lies just what Sony were aiming for, because while some titles didn't interest me, others did. Something for everyone, if you will. Hardly a PS3 vibe either...
And the PS3 launched with BC. Thus, you made no point. -_-
That's like saying "I think the world is flat". Yeah, "you said that", but so what?
OT: I don't expect my PS4 to top my i7 3970X / GTX 690 / 32GB DDR3 RAM combo, but I couldn't care less. I'm stoked for its release and titles like Killzone: ShadowFall, inFAMOUS: Second Son, and WATCH_DOGS already have me sold on the hardware.
