I agree with you - plus I just want something new. Nothing like that new console smell.
:)
I always buy physical media for every game that has a retail release.
I was referring to the install size and how some people always bitch about it.
I guess I see how my comment could have been construed as a little condescending. I only meant this whole "install" issue is a little old. Installs have been on PCs for decades and this process is practically mandated for next gen (not for Sony but MS - although install improves performance so why not ...
The recent videos are really showing this title well. I have that same feeling of excitement I had for Resistance at the PS3 launch :)
Thanks.
Because 4.7GB is soooo large. Please.
Have a bubble for saving me a click :)
If your hard drive is full here are some options ...
Option 1: Delete some data
Option 2: Install a bigger hard drive
Option 3: It's 2013 - quit bitching (if you are the bitchy type that is).
Hard drives are faster than optical drives - why would you not want to install?
Ummmmm .......
Sony is always bringing to IPs to its consoles and if they want to add remasters too - I'm all for it. If you don't like the idea or don't want to pay again then don't buy.
Those who missed the games when they were released or those who want to experience them again with all the technical hiccups removed would be able to do so.
Win/Win for everybody.
I have an X1 for Day One, but I could care less about Kinect. As long as I have a controller in my hands and don't have to bark at the TV then I'll be fine.
Oh please this is not exploitative.
Those who do not want to buy it again will keep or get it for PS3. Those who want one of the best games this gen in higher res and frame rate will buy the PS4 version. Simple as that.
I'm excited to get Flower and Journey in 1080P/60FPS.
Oh I agree with you. I just think violence is appropriate from a contextual sense, but violence for violence sake does not make any game fun. Game play is king not the themes surrounding it.
The fact that this is even a topic of discussion is just sad. I defer to games like Journey, Flower, etc. as proof that violence is just a theme - NOT a prerequisite for a good game.
Wow, I didn't even notice this because it is a non issue for me and I don't think that way. People are people - I see no color or race, just a happy couple.
I've never seen Sony so confident in a product since the PS2 days!
You are correct and I was being a little sarcastic toward the article and not the XB1.
This will be of great interest to me too!
The article states "Xbox volume up" - I hardly call that controlling my home theater! Now if I can say "Xbox Oppo Blue Ray" or "Xbox Preset One" or "Xbox Tivo" then maybe that would be controlling my home theater. However, my tablet already does these things with the Harmony app.
I doubt it will control any complex theater though. More info is needed I guess.
Even if you do not like any of the free games on offer - the discounts alone make the the service worth it.
Just a matter of time before another 180 and it won't shut down if it overheats.

When you pair the best developers with the best specs - you get the best games.
Sony has all three!
I could care less what any company says - it's their pattern of behavior that identifies the company. Microsoft has abandoned the core gamer for the last 2 - 3 years with the 360 (and original Xbox) so I have no reason to believe they won't do the same with the XB1.
MS has a history of bringing good games during the first 2 years of the console and then they do a 180 (he he) and focus on a completely different segment with virtually nothing for the core gamer.
Yes, Silent Hill was ash
