Exactly. It goes to show that the disparity in sales between the two consoles is not because of price alone. Sony's track record for providing games throughout the entire life cycle of their product (AAA to boot) from PS1 through PS3 has established a confidence in a PS4 purchase.
M$ arrogance with the X1 is what is hurting them. They should have learned from Sony's mistakes early last gen.

I think the wrong version is on PSN at the moment. It is the Japanese version. It does not indicate the Japanese version when you buy it and the title for the game is the Western version but when you download it you get the Japanese version.
Disappointed for sure - but I am sure this will get fixed and I can download the US version soon.

Just another gaming option that is all. These types of things are usually outsourced to 2nd or 3rd tier devs so AAA games do not take a backseat to HD remakes.

Maybe because optical can only handle compressed DD and DTS at 5.1. HDMI is the home theater standard and is the only connection that can handle DD True HD and DTS HD 7.1 which is uncompressed and more dynamic.

Many developers, indies in particular, often create games as an expression of their creativity and desire to build something unique and money is not the driving factor.

I feel the same as you. I've owned every console back to the Atari 2600, but the X1 just seems like the insecure girlfriend that won't take a hint to leave - always bothering me with e-mail and false hope.

IGN does seem a bit "Fishy" to me as well. Really most gaming media is biased and it seems increasingly paid off in some form or another - just my opinion though.
I still trust GameInformer and GameTrailers the most though. They seem to have the same opinion of games as me and take a more subjective approach to their reviews.

No different then Beyond: Two Souls. Some will love it. Some with think its OK and others will hate it.
It's a launch game and very few launch games live up to the new console hype.

Anyway, I am baffled as to why this is not included as a default feature but I'm sure it will come soon enough. I do use my PS3 to stream ripped DVDs (I own the physical copies btw - so no piracy issues here) and watch blu-rays via physical disc. I also stream MP3s from my PC to PS3.
