Good list. I would only add Sony's support for their consoles throughout the ENTIRE GENERATION life cycle which they have done since the PS1.

Because those who want the best of the best will pay for it. Others will wait for the inevitable price drop or skip it altogether if they already played it.
The best game of the last generation (IMO) should get full billing.

I don't remember Ubisoft saying the demo shown at E3 2012 was PlayStation 4 gameplay. It was a concept of a game they were working on running on a high end PC.
Not trying to defend Ubisoft just trying to spread a little perspective when the PS4 specs were still not complete.
Besides, the newest PS4 videos look great. Killzone 2 never looked like the E3 reveal (despite what some say) but the game was still gorgeous and fun to play.
If an author has to resort to misleading headlines to get people to read his or her article, then maybe the article shouldn't exist to begin with because it can't stand on its own merits.
Why use a bait and switch headline? I know it will garner clicks, but I am tired of all the tricks and deception used in articles these days.
Give me back my 300 page+ EGM magazine where the smell of ink and focus on the games was the story of the day.
I hate the little two bit comment added to the title of the article. That pisses me off more than anything.
"...Whether you want it or not" - what does that even mean. All DLC is "Whether you want it or not". Quite trying to put a negative slant on the article before anyone even reads it.

From a console perspective only, PS4 users don't have to worry about graphics vs gameplay - because they will have both on a good game. The X1 may get the same gameplay but lower graphic fidelity. Just a complete reversal of last gen and Sony has the best 1st parties that will push the system even further.
PS4 really is going to be a great system. I would buy an X1 for its exclusives but I'm afraid Microsoft will just abandon me like they did with the first Xbox and 3...
I love the idea about a sequel to an SNES game some 15-20 years later.

Yes! I want one of the best series of all time with the best graphics and frame rate possible on a console (not counting PC as I'm a console only gamer)
Worth is in the eye of the buyer. This game is worth owning the console for me - which I do.
I also own a PS4 and X1 because I think they are worth it too.
This is my hobby so I must have all systems to play all the great games each console offers.
Um, maybe people who did not have a PS3 would want this.

Sony's track record says it all. Since PS1, Sony has put the gamer first and all other "stuff" second. Sony has the best 1st party studios. Naughty Dog, SSM, Sucker Punch and MM have proven they deliver. The games from those studios will be coming.
Also $100 cheaper for better hardware and no FORCED camera helps too.
Well price being equal, the PS4 is still the more powerful hardware with a track record of 1st party studios delivering for the entire lifecycle of Sony consoles.
