"... New CoD gameplay, Assassins Creed, The Witcher, The Division, Tomb Raider ..." - you do know all those games are on PS4 too don't you? In fact, they will likely look and play better on PS4 going by current trends.

My gut tells me M$ will win because I believe they are out to prove a point and regain core gamers mindshare. However, Sony has been relatively quiet and with Movie Theater showings something could be big from them.

I love the opportunity to experience many games from previous generations with enhanced graphics and framerates. Not all appeal to me, but I appreciate the option to purchase the best version of a game that I never played or would like to experience again in enhanced form.
Did you ever stop to think that revenue from remasters just might go to fund new games? If you don't like remasters then you are not forced to buy them - it's really just as simple as that.
Also, unless you are a games developer then you have no clue, let me reiterate, NO CLUE what resources are being used to make the remasters. Most of the time these are farmed out to small development studios that NEED the work to survive. I'm pretty sure it's a safe assumpt...

Drake and Sully ARE Uncharted! The witty back and forth just makes Uncharted special from a "Feel" standpoint.
You are very smart to approach this gen in this way. By October you will have plenty of games to play until the next great batch arrive.
I remember the PS3 getting slammed at launch for no games and rushed games and the like. We all know how that turned out.
Release dates ALWAYS get pushed for many big name titles - this gen is no different. If you believe developer/publisher release dates as fact then you are truly naive.
If you are not happy with the current gen game lineup then maybe you should have stayed with last gen until the game library is RELEASED to your liking.

Is this your first console launch? Every console cycle has been the same. The first year is always sparse with content. You are completely naive if you think otherwise.
Microsoft is in the same boat - nothing to play and they have the inferior multi-plats so it's even worse for them.
Each system has plenty of games to play you clearly just overlook it.
If Sony shows the Last Guardian, Uncharted 4, The Order, Rime, GOW4 then they win hands down in my eyes. I like Halo and all, but Gears has been underwhelming since the first one (IMO).

Definitely preference, but 3rd party multi-plats are still going to look and run better on PS4 - even if just marginally. Better multi-plats is what helped Xbox 360 hold its own against PS3 - at least in the beginning.
So, I think PS4 has better exclusives with a proven track record of full generation support and better 3rd party performing games.
Xbox 1 still has a lot to prove in my eyes before I buy one. I'm waiting to see the games at E3 before decidi...

I wanted to be wowed but all I got were games we already knew and CGI trailers for games that wont see the light of day until after the next E3. I give them a B grade overall but their exclusives just did not strike a chord with me. I guess I'll wait until after ...
