Xbox WAS for the hardcore crowd. Now it's just a Kinect wasteland. Xbox is just not cool anymore.
Sure a few really good multiplats have come out but they are also available elsewhere. 2007-2008 were the glory years of Xbox for sure.
Hopefully the next Xbox will resonate with me again because I truly like cutting edge tech (not Kinect however no matter how "cutting edge" MS proclaims it to be).
This is just my personal feeling o...
This and ME3 Demo on the 14th - SA-WEET!!!
I feel sorry for your friend's digestive system :)
Blast Corp
Well, I heard that the next Xbox will REQUIRE an installed copy of the latest version of Modern Warfare before it will even boot!
That's just crazy I tell ya!

I enjoyed ME2 quite a bit, but I did feel the character recruiting got a bit tedious, however not nearly as tedious as the planet scanning.
I'm all for resource gathering, but at least make it fun.
The first ME had such a great story (to me anyway) and ME2 just drug by story wise until the end which was great.
I would not be surprised if this is a 2013 release now.
Maybe a PC/Console simultaneous release?
The Xbox just doesn't feel cool anymore.
The new interface, Avatars, and incessant focus on Kinect make it feel like a device for kids now. In 2007/2008 this machine oozed coolness - now just blah.
There are cool games coming (The Witcher 2) but the whole system has just lost its appeal with me.
Video killed the Radio Star and Kinect killed the Xbox.
That was pretty cool!
Hopefully you can get your deposit back and order somewhere else.
Sorry about your friends job :(
The cinematic brought new players up to speed on major plot points, but in no way was it a substitute for the actual experience and emotional involvement with all of characters.
I just wanted to throw my 2 cents worth in. It was a lot of the sub quests that drew me into ME1 and the resource gathering with the Mako. I loved landing on alien planets and exploring at my leisure.
April 2013 more like it.
If this does not at least equal Dead Space quality gameplay , I will consider this iteration a failure.
Dead Space can aim and shoot.
Resident Evil 6 may have moved toward action over survival horror and I'm OK with that - as long as it is better than the awful RE5 (hint: make co-op optional in the campaign)
Dead Space took its place in the survival horror category anyway.
Looks great. I can't wait to buy this day one with Uncharted.
He won the flash game "Shoot the Fanboy" on N4G home page. He took out 400 fanboys in 10 seconds.
Memory cards are expensive, but if the DD version of games are cheaper, than the memory card will be offset after several game purchases.
If each DD game is $10 cheaper than retail my 32GB memory card will be paid for after 10 game purchases.
Not bad in my eyes, just the initial expense will be greater. And lets face it, if your buying one at launch (like me) then money is likely not an issue for you anyway.
I think Journey will be a good example of what you are talking about :)
I just picked up my Xbox 720 today :)
Even if Wii U is only as powerful or a little more than PS3/360 - Mario and DKC in HD will be welcome indeed.
