Very well said - I agree 100%
I hate when companies think they can force feed its consumers. I want the Xbox of 2007 when the focus was on great games not Wreakateer(sp?) or other casual crap.
Some casual as a side dish is great but when I'm only getting side dishes for the main meal, it is time to go to a new restaurant. I like to eat more than twice a year. (sorry to steal your food analogy)
WOW - would this ever help the Vita.
I think a lot of people would like to pickup a Vita but may not be big portable gamers so the $250 price tag is not justified for these people. Also, the game selection may not be up to par just yet for many to take the plunge.
Diablo 3 sure would sway many people to pickup the Vita I think :)
This would be the perfect play at home, take it on the go game Sony has been pitching the Vita for.
Well said Major :)
The Last of Us and Beyond for me, BUT Halo 4 did look mighty tasty!
At least it's good for something - gaming not being one of them.
In White Goodman voice:
"Just kidding, but not really..."
Sorry, but I loved it. I enjoyed the slow paced horror element to the game as opposed to another military shooter.
Can't wait to play it remastered.
Well if you believe the articles posted here then PC Gaming is dead, Console Gaming is dead and mobile shall inherit the earth.
Thank goodness I don't belive the articles around here.
This is clearly The Dig 2.
A Resident Evil that doesn't suck!
This and Tomba 2 were some of the best gaming experiences back on the PS1. Most of today's games simply do not have the fun factor these had back then.
DAY ONE BUY!
That was funny - bubble up!
Bingo!
I agree with you.
I'm from the U.S. and our broadband here is not very good. Also there's data caps which would ruin this whole notion - at least for the near and even distant future.
If I have to pay extra for faster internet 50Mbs or so and you add that up over several years and I might as well get a dedicated console - it would be cheaper.
Yes I agree, people really are sheep. More so now than ever before I'm afraid.
Wake me when this is actually useful with quality games - around the year 2020 and with my current 20Mbs connection.
I want no compromises! 1080P 60FPS 4/8x AA.
So people moan and complain about Diablo 3 being always connected. And this is any better??? What if my Internet goes down - no games then?
Yeah right.
You are correct and I have moved on.
It doesn't mean die-hard supporters of Microsoft's Xbox can't be upset with this new direction. After all, many of us have spent $1000's of dollars over the years on Xbox games/accessories/and digital content. This change in direction feels like a slap to the face of those who have helped them be successful this gen.
I'm just say'n.
This is why I bought a 32GB Memory card.
I used to pay $69.99 for many N64 games and Neo Geo Cartridges were between $150 - $200.
Gaming is cheaper now then in the 90s. I paid $799 for my 3DO and loved it and never complained once about the price.
So no, TO ME, gaming is cheaper now especially with Amazon and other Internet deals.
There was no Internet option in the 80s and early 90s so things cost more back then.
Maybe because the Hardcore are starting to leave the 360 because on the never ending focus on Kinect?
I know that's why I left.
Me too. I just don't understand what Microsoft is doing at the moment.
A pity really, the 360 was once so, so good.
