I prefer the look of the flooded ruins myself. I hope they release U2 maps for U3. I would love to see the Ice Cave released - I loved that map!

Hopefully with less forced Coop. Optional Coop is great, but forcing it in the single player campaign was lame IMO.
Exactly, I like to play aggresively and get in the thick of the action. This means I blind fire and melee alot and that is fun for me. It also means skilled aimers kill me alot too. I'm having fun and skilled players get a lot of kills from me.

I used to be a PC snob (so to speak), but in the end most games I wanted to play were only on console so I went that route.
Diablo 3 is the only PC game I want. I look at Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 graphics and I am not left wanting. These games are gorgeous on console.

If I wanted to get a good gaming PC (My wife has an all-in-one HP), then I would need to get the PC $600-$700 for a decent one, 24" monitor and a good set of speakers and I am at around $1000.
How is that not expensive when so many articles are bitching about a $249 PSVita?
Since PS+ owners get this for 50% off I will buy it, but it does annoy me that Capcom half-assed the remake. No remastered cutscenes or sound effects is lame.
Capcom will probably release a Super Resident Evil HD with remastered cutscenes, sound effects and a platinum trophy.
Capcom is seriously living in 1990 all over again.

I think you are right about a PS4 in 2013. I think Sony will announce it at E3 2012 for a fall 2013 release. Any sooner and I think the system would seem rushed.

The PSP is really big in Japan so this is their reward for supporting the original system!
It will be March - the original PSP launched in March.
And the author should not care that I like trophies.
I know the industry would lose my money if single player died out, and I spend a lot of money on gaming and the toys that go with it :)
I think SP-centric games are taking on MP because they will get marked down in a review because "teh no multiplayer...".
Like others have said above - some may try the multiplayer and then get bored and move back to what they are most comfortable (and good at) and what is popular - generic shooter #1 or generic shooter #2, #3, #4 ...
I agree that Nintendo needs to stay in the handheld market, but releasing Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong Country, etc. for the 360/PS3 or 720/PS4 would be gaming nirvana and I believe would help stabilize the industry a bit.
Good length for the campaign and more puzzles is a plus :)
