We hear all the time in game reviews of a lack of innovation and vision in modern games. Games like this and Flower personify these qualities and hopefully will be reward with deserving sales.
I know I will be purchasing day one to sit next to Flower and Flow on my hard drive :)
Yeah Origins is a showpiece for the OLED screen for sure!
Sign me up :)
Will give my iPad 2 to my wife (replacing her original iPad) and I will get the iPad 3 - unless it's only a minor upgrade like the 4S then I will keep my iPad 2. If the rumors about the hi-res screen are true then I'm in.
Man, EDGE just hates videogames don't they?
The article makes very good points about the ME Universe and I agree with the author - about Mass Effect NOT the bombing part.
I think it would be cool to have Earth lost to the Reapers and humaity would have to fight for the Citadel as a last bastion of hope. But since the ME3 slogan is "Take Earth Back" I doubt that will happen. Although that could mean it is lost and the final battle is the battle for Earth - which could be cool too.
Either way, ...
Sign of the times - deal with it or pick a new hobby. It sounds to me like a few of you feel entitled to everything for free. The game's story was not cut to make you pay extra quit being such drama queens.
Gamers these days...
If you don't like it then don't buy it - pretty simple really.
You can finish the game and trilogy quite easily with no DLC. If you really feel strong against the DLC then don't even buy the game - that'll show em!
DLC is planned well in advance and if people think developers can't start on it until the main game is complete then your delusional. Business is not run that way in most any industry.
Most games are only 8 - 10 hours and ME3 is around 40+ hours and somehow Bioware is milking the consumer with their DLC?
Whiney little babies!
You are so right. I enjoy gaming of all types and I would never want my gaming choices limited to one or two choices. The more gaming options the better I always say :)
I hope MS, The Big N and Sony are successful. Competition breeds quality and innovation.
The demo has a great soundtrack, but the game pretty much looks like an upscaled PS2/Xbox game from 1995 - and what's with the scenery pop-in? I don't remember a racing game with scenery pop-in in years.
Controls seemed off too.
I just vote every site down that post doom and gloom article #9999 about anything videogame related. I'm tired of N4G polluted with nonsense articles so this is my only option.
These are gaming sites that want gaming to fail - I just don't get it. I wonder if the author's of these type of articles are as self-destructive in their personal lives?
I like your name. The Vita has so much more over the 3DS in quality alone and at only $80 more. I like the 3DS, but for only $80 more you can get a Vita with that wonderful, beautiful, 5" OLED screen.
I think if $80 is a difference between buy and don't buy, then your in the wrong hobby. Things will only get more expensive next gen.
I hate Joe Average :)
Joe Average is a sheep with no brain in his head.
Yeah I see Vita ads on every channel I watch - have been for the last 3 weeks or so.
I've had mine preordered since June of last year so this is good news.
I also bought two Vitas. One for me and one for my wife :)
Next article - "PS4 will not play PS2 games - has it already failed?"
/s
Wow. Nobody will buy a PS4 to play PS2 games. I want 1080p 60 frames per second with high levels of Anti-Aliasing - NOT 480p 30 frames.
HD remasters are great because they no longer look so horrible on big screen HD TVs.
Move on people. I LOVED the PS2 back in the day but come on... Maybe we should complain about Wii U not playing my cartridge NES/SNES games too.
Agreed. More choice is always a good thing. I can still play ME3 like the first two so I'm good. Besides the more gamers the series attracts, the more ME games to come.
I think they have a great system to appeal to all but the most ardent of RPG enthusiests.
Bravo BioWare!
Perhaps by playing the game you can convince Samara the Justicar to help you :)
