They still have to give people with Qore a chance at the Home beta. If they give it to everyone now, the Qore people would probably be pretty pissed, especially since they were promised access. We won't see Home until the end of this month at the earliest.

That sucks, but I'm not surprised, I've had a number of glitches on the PS3 version. One time I couldn't get a mission (the door where the APR leader was supposed to be was closed), the loading icon in the top left of the screen wouldn't go away, and the time got all messed up (3pm turned into morning for some reason). I tried it again the next day, and all the problems went away though.

There are other glitches that don't stop though. Like people looking the wrong way while shoo...

I bet MAG gets retitled as Socom: ______.

I'd prefer it if they made it a new IP, but since Zipper is doing it and Socom carries a lot of brand recognition they'll probably call it Socom.

Maybe they'll make some good games now that they kicked Itagaki to the curb. Talk about a douchebag... He even slammed Sigma and a "sub-ordinate" on his own fudgin team.

Edit: I meant better, not to say Ninja Gaiden isn't good, just not my cup of tea. I still think Itagaki is a douche though.

Nobody cares.

If anything its a win for PS3 owners. Now we'll never have to meet you on PSN. Also, this isn't in anyway relevant to the article.

that when you buy the expansion you don't download anything? That pissed me off. I basically paid that extra money for content I already had. They had even restricted game modes (and the only real way to get reward points).

It's fun though. I just got bored of it (and the hackers/lag switch users or whatever), I guess. I would probably play it more if it had been stand alone on the PSN (no going through the menus with like 2 minutes of loading) and if it used PSN IDs.

It is a multi-platform game, so that is easily assumed. It's just from PS3fanboy.com, which is why it focuses on the PS3 and is in the PS3 section.

Actually, the Naruto game I played (on the PS2) was actually really fun for a fighter. I only watched some of the Anime which was OK (I prefer series that actually end), but I was pretty suprised by how fun the game was. This version is 3D though, so I'm not sure how it'll turn out.

That being said, I don't really like the fighting genre, and definitley wouldn't pay $60 for any fighting game.

@jspc1989
I was talking about graphics because that's what he was talking about. If you didn't notice I was responding to lowcarbs comment. I also didn't say the 360 was at its limit, I just said the PS3 has more first party devs to optimize for the hardware. Graphics aren't my main concern, I'm just tired of all these bullsh!t arguments about how the PS3 sucks when there are games on it that blow the 360 out of the water.

And I've been into gaming for quite some time. Sinc...

but they are pretty awesome.

I personally don't like the first one though. No one acts like they should. The person with the camera clearly saw the ship and didn't react, and the kids were throwing things at armed aliens. I don't think those things would have happened. Also, I don't think the Chimera suck that bad at shooting. Cool concept though.

Edward James Olmos = instant win.

That would have totally turned off the core gaming crowd though. I would have been more willing to buy a Wii if it had a choice for either the Wii mote, or a gamecube-like/standard controller. Some games let you use the gamecube controller, but it isn't required. I can't stand the Wii mote for shooters or anything like that (although I haven't tried Metroid, which I'm told utilizes it better). I can't imagine those games without even the nunchuck.

If you turn off the core gaming ...

Way to fly off the handle over nothing. His last sentence isn't even necessarily referring to Mario Galaxy, and yet you totally flipped out.

I find the Wii controller pretty frustrating as well. Some of the buttons are very small and awkwardly placed, and some games use the infra red pointing in pretty annoying ways. Nothing he said wasn't true. It depends on the game and the person playing it.

Some people like the Wii controller, and some people don't. Get over it....

Yeah, I don't get this either. I don't even have a 360, or particularly enjoy Halo, but the headline could have easily read "Good games are killing console multiplayer" instead. That argument doesn't really make any sense.

People play what is fun. I guess I agree that hype and the media have an effect, but GTA was hyped like hell, and I don't play it online anymore because it sucks. Halo is just a solid multiplayer game. Other developers just need to step up, and make ...

MS just buys exclusive DLC. Plus, I doubt Sony is even involved in this (if that's what you were hinting at). This was clearly 2K's decision.

Edit: Actually, Sony may have been involved. I don't know, so I can't dismiss it. I wonder why this is exclusive to the PS3. They should have put this on the PS3 disc, and offered it as DLC to XBL (giving the PS3 version added value for being a year late, while still offering it to the 360 for added profits). Maybe there are size restrictio...

Oh give me a break. Are you really that delusional?
"The 360 has not yet been maxed out my friend, and if anything the PS3 has."

Wtf are you talking about. If anything the PS3 has shown it can do more. The 360 hasn't shown any evidence of better graphics. I see Killzone 2 and Heavy Rain outputting the best graphics I've ever seen on a console. What games on the 360 lead you to believe it has leaps and bounds to go before it reaches its potential. I'm not saying th...

This is what you're talking about, I assume. In my experience, the sun doesn't look like it's exploding when you look at it. If the 360 version somehow looks better to you in those screenshots then whatever. The intended effect was obviously what is displayed on the PS3, since it was the lead platform. The PS3 ...

So you don't like it now because he gave a PS3 game a good score? Yeah, I see how your point makes a lot of sense from one side.

From the videos it seems pretty obvious that you stick out a little when behind cover. Your head seems slightly exposed, and a few limbs are probably hanging out too. That's fine against AI opponents, but it would be ridiculously easy for real players to pick people off. If they left it in, I guarantee no one would use it after the first hour of online gameplay.

Anyway, I'm sure you can still kneel behind cover and everything, you just won't stick.

You really DO have to be an xbox fanboy to like Halo 2 & 3. Honestly, if you liked those piles of steaming dog sh!t you clearly haven't played any better fps games.

See how stupid I sound there? And I did it with better grammar. I can't imagine how stupid you must feel.

First everyone says Killzone 2 is too gray and bland, and now everyone says R2 is too colorful. Give me a fudging break. Hypocrisy ftl.
