I do disagree with using Resistance as an example though. To me, it and Dead Rising 2 do it very poorly. Carbon copy skins of Nathan Hale & Chuck Greene running around helping identical versions of themselves is cheesy in this day and age. Devs always say they didn't code the campaign with multiple characters in mind yet there's always an obvious option present. In RFOM, there was the bloke wearing the beret/or generic soldier, player 2 in DR2 could be any other survivor/safehouse...

Crytek didn't buy Free Radical because of Haze's excellence. They wanted an already established, viable console IP to compete in an oversaturated market. Crysis, while great and it garnered much attention in the PC community, was still a lesser known entity amongst console gamers.

Now that CrytekUK finished the MP portion of Crysis2 I imagine we'll see a TS4 teaser by next E3. And since those chaps have a little experience with the CryEngine3, hopefully that bod...

There's a troll for every platform, and subsets of fanboys within every platform exclusive that further annoy sensible gamers. Surprised we haven't seen an infamous car analogy yet.

OT: Stoked for a sequel to my favorite MS IP. I loved the Twin Peaks vibe although it wasn't the game's main inspiration. And the soundtrack was fantastic, perhaps the best this gen next to Fallout3. Remedy and Poets of the Fall deserve a round of applause for completely emulating ...

Where's the console money?

Using the numbers you obtained from that garbage site (VG Chartz lulz), Crysis2 on consoles sold 1.2mil@$60 for a total of $72mil. PC sales 800k@$50 totals $40mil. Subtract royalty fees ($12mil) and Crytek and EA still made 20 million more on consoles in 2 months. Guess that's pocket change to you eh?

How about BF:BC2's breakdown? 5mil@$60=$300mil. 2mil@$50=$100mil. Minus console roylaties @$50mil and we see the gap gr...

See that's the problem; we didn't initially. This talentless bimbo inherited her congressional role after her husband/singer Sonny Bono died. Of course it must be officially noted she won via a "special election". But if you're old enough to know how the game is played, one can easily see past the bullshit and know this is American nepotism at its finest. And how'd she win re-election? Get caught in a scandal with her girlfriend licking her boob at a fund raiser. And...

1) Does Microsoft manufacture or officially license K/M support to a 3rd party for the X360?

2) Does Microsoft consider using an external, unlicensed K/M adapter a violation of the terms of use?

3) To even utilize K/M support on the X360, does one need to use a software hack or an unauthorized peripheral?

Do I even have to differentiate between racing wheels/fight sticks and unlicensed peripherals? Please tell me you're not that dense? Is...

Why did it take a class action lawsuit against Time Warner Cable to notify its employee and consumers of an alleged identity theft intrusion?

I was an employee of the company and hadn't worked there for 2 whole years before attorneys notified me. And what did I receive as compensation for such an egregious act on TWC's part (exactly what you're dismissing Sony of and then NOT DISCLOSE IT FOR 2 FREAKING YEARS!)? One month free of expanded basic cable. If you no lo...

Five years ago I joined a group of plaintiffs suing Time Warner Cable for the exact same crime; someone hacked TWC's central database in New York and possibly accessed both employee and consumer accounts. When people joined the lawsuit from California, it became a class action. You know what I got? An official written "my bad" apology and a month free of cable. Sony might have to give out a free PSN game or two.

This is just another half-assed article summarizing what litle details have been released. Game Informer mentions both Ashley and Kaden as returning, depending on what decision you made.

go to K-MART. I know, I know. But ever since they emerged from bankruptcy and purchased Sears, you can't sleep on them.

They got a buy 2 get a 3rd free deal on games that week and $10 off a $20 PSN card if you purchase them on PS3. I believe you also get $10 off the next game purchase on either system.

Essentially one can buy Socom4, Portal2, MK, and a $20PSN card for $135. Included on the receipt, another $10 off your next game!

The first time he makes a sexual overture, shoot him down. But continue to agree with him over the way the Templars mistreat the Magi. Try to keep Fenris out of the party as well if you want his loyalty; they are diametrically opposed to one another in most conversations. Do all his companion quests and save before the dialogue, in case you mess up the responses.
He'll be your devoted friend by the 3rd chapter!

Love the fact that they're scaling back the camera but absolutely despise the grenade arc. Thanks socom mongos! My advice: go rent bad company2 and learn how to throw a grenade. Maybe they'll bitch some more until I'm forced to use the D-pad to scope again.

Oops, I forgot my bad, these dinosaur controls that lead to plodding gameplay that has resulted in every Socom title selling less than the previous one are what most socom vets categorize as "tactical&qu...

Seriously, these are some of the worst graphics I have seen this gen. Compare it to other recent UE games like Bulletstorm and ME2(PS3), these graphics are absolutely horrific. Despite contrary claims from THQ, Homefront is just another A game being masqueraded with AAA marketing.

Between a 5/6 more like it. Now graphics aren't the most important aspect in a game but my god is it an ugly game. So much so it affects the immersion value of the story. I'd barely concede the PC version's visuals are even current gen at the moment.

Gameplay is decent, but like professional reviewers have noted, EVERYTHING is cliched. And unfortunately, most older games have done it better, a lot better. The MP, also affected by the game's ugly visuals, has ...

Oh bullshit...this has to be THE dumbest conclusion anyone at N4G has EVER jumped to. I think I've heard it all now. And 3 people actually thought this was a good excuse as any. Yeah let's blame Bioware and I guess Bethesda & Lionhead too for JRPGs becoming "too Western-ized".

The REAL reason nobody buys JRPGs en masse like the old days is because Japanese consumers have abandoned consoles altogether. They all went mobile with 3" screens and 16 bit ...

Picked up a 160gig PS3 for my youngest boy that included Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Vanquish for $299. Both games were on my oldest son's Wish List. Talk about scoring as a parent that day!

Ever since they emerged from bankruptcy and bought Sears you can't sleep on the K. They have killer specials every now & then - NFS:Hot Pursuit was $39.99 the week it released.
