He complimented both rivals in their passion to create new experiences with their own hardware. I guessed you missed that part too? Don't even know why I bother anymore.....

You make pointless, uninformed posts on topics you clearly jumped to the conclusion by reading the yellow, journalistic heading and not actually watching the press conference.

He also attributed credit to other 3rd party titles like, The Sims, that have expanded social networking through video games. But I guessed you missed that part too?

I've primarily gamed on consoles with no regrets the last decade. But with this, the Witcher2, SC2 last year and Diablo3 coming, I gotta admit I've started pricing components. DD services like Steam and improvements to gamepad compatibility are also a huge plus for me.

Everything is cyclical in nature and it looks like the PC's strengths are reasserting themselves again after a brief hiatus. Maybe if I give my wife the laptop she won't notice and nag?

Didn't know if I appreciated the changes to KZ3 it made me a CoD fanboy! That's great to know. Or...

Or maybe I just hated the input lag.

And you list 25 reasons wall of text but fail to mention the paultry number of maps and the mind-boggling idiocy of the playlists? All maps should be playable in GW. All forthcoming DLC should contain 1 map for operations and 1 for warzone with both playable on team deathmatch.

but it's not just the Mayans. The ancient Hebrew bible calls for the end sometime around the 7000th year. We're in the 7000th year now i believe. Then there's the Rosicrucians and the Georgia Guidestones. I think the Hopi Indians in SW America also refer to a coming apocalypse in 2012. And we can't forget prophets like Nostradamus. Even NASA is fueling the doomsday scenarios by warning us of severe solar flares starting next year!

But we'll have to wait o...

I hate to see what the author construes as anemic; MLB2011: the Show, Yakuza4, Ar Tonelico Qoga, Playstation Move Heroes, and European PS3 owners get Motorstorm Apocalypse as well this month.

Nothing like rehashing some tiresome old argument that had no basis in the 1st place. I could understand 360 ONLY fans hyping P1, but for PS3 owners, who could play both IPs, to engage and retaliate in fanboyism was one of the many head-scratching inducing moments of this gen.

@ GodHandDee FYI Prototype2, via Gamestop's database, is coming out on March 31, 2012. That's almost 10 months after Infamous2 which is set to sail on June 7, 2011. Hopefully it's far enoug...

It feels solid in your hand, not flimsy. With both devices firmly in place, it has a good bit of weight. My hands tend to shake so the Move by itself is too jittery for me to consider MP. Obviously, that's gone now as the peripheral stabilizes the reticle against my shoulder and both arms. All the extra buttons on the gun work great especially the trigger (I was a bit hesitant of plastic working buttons and their durability).

The only downside to the Sharpshooter is the ...

I don't even need to dignify a real answer do I? Bioshock (PS3), VF4 (360), and UT3 (360) all expose year old port's dirty little sales secrets don't they?

To any sane gamer whose downloaded and played both demos, we all know which is better. And it isn't the one filled with quippy one liners from Tank Dempsey.

Honestly, I always thought KZ2 was overrated. A good game but not w/o its faults. However, for me, the sequel (well the beta and demo anyway) addressed every issue I had with the second title.

Bulletstorm's juvenile potty humor might be funny if you're 15, but even more seriously, similar games ...

obviously the unknown is PC sales but I put it at least 2.5million for the 3 platforms. The only people who thought it didn't sell well were EA executives. If you remember, they said the same things about Dead Space 2.

I especially love the deleted scene in Full Metal Jacket where they passed around the potty jar during the famous sniper scene. Lotta quarters collected that day

Red Faction, Duke Nuke'em, Hunted:Demon's Forge, and a LEGOS title just off the top of my head for May as well.

You'll notice that I omitted any reference to Sony's lineup as I really want to illustrate how the ENTIRE industry is gearing up for one of the greatest years ever in terms of software.

especially in an article referring to both handhelds. Fanboys won't be happy. Seeing as how I blame the stagnation of the East entirely on handhelds, thus causing many of my favorite Japanese IPs to migrate to 3" screens with inferior graphics; I hope the smart phone industry buries both. I'm so sick of remakes, reboots and remixes of 10 year old games. And for a country that prides itself on technology I find it baffling. Apple just reported 26 billion in sales last quarter, so ...

Calm down and call Gamestop. You are completely wrong. Extraction is included with the limited edition (only available for the PS3). The only worthwhile difference between the limited and collector's editions is the plasma cutter replica.

5557d ago 7 agree2 disagreeView comment

The limited edition is only available for the PS3. It includes DS2 and Extraction for $59.99. There is NO 360 LIMITED edition, just standard and collector's edition.

Extraction will also be available as a standalone download for both the PSN and XBLA, $14.99 and 1200 pts respectively.

The bonus is by getting DS2 on the PS3 you get Extraction included for free.

EDIT: And by pre-ordering either version, you receive Ignition as a gift.

guess that's 1 of the advantages of being a gaming dinosaur. I've been playing video games longer than the magazines, including Nintendo Power, have existed. So they have NEVER dissuaded me from playing any game I've ever been intrigued with.

but this gen, I find most of the official mags to have the most unbiased reviews lol. That's how bad gaming journalism has become.
