Well they're absolutely wrong. They're really missing a step in the thought process.
Mass Effect is already known to every gamer whether they're interested or not. Anyone who is "intimidated" by playing a game with a controller probably doesn't even know that Mass Effect exists. So what makes you think someone who can't use a freaking controller is going to pick up the 3rd game in a story driven RPG? How are they even going to know it has retard ...

Not physically possible. But it's going to matter. High res OLED screen is all it needs.
Region free is about 40th on my list. %95 of owners won't know or care. Everything else is just overkill.

Ah WTF! Reliving Halo:CE LAN parties was the only reason I was excited for this. I was assuming it would have it's own online multiplayer mode or at least LAN. God dammit....

I bought a Wii for the core nintendo games and whatever else popped up that looked interesting. I own about 8 Wii games over 4.5 years. %99 of play time spent elsewhere. The whole system is a pathetic overpriced joke....
Looks like last gen version 1.5 once again from Nintendo. At least they'll get a ton of 360/PS3 ports for awhile. Seriously though RAM is so damned cheap right now there's no reason not to have at least 4GB.
Oh cool a new Planetside. Always wanted to play it but I was stuck with worthless internet connection until 2007.
I'm sure it'll look about the same on the small screen. But really this is just not a good sign for 3DS. Not much point in a system when the best games are old ports. Probably will get one when the Lite version inevitably comes out, but NGP or Vita (god i hate that name) is looking a hell of a lot better in every regard.
Tetris is kind of the definition of a 2D game. Hopefully they do some kind of mode that really utilizes seeing blocks in 3d. Multiple layers maybe?
It was good but once you're done there's just nothing to do. Huge beautiful city and nothing to do in it. Should've had some kind of criminal free roam mode.

So essentially they're going to turn it into a crappy generic shooter. Hitman was awesome because of its uniqueness. Could play every level over and over in completely different ways.

I guess not many of you are PC gamers. I don't think I've bough a PC game on disc since 2008. Downloads are easier and generally cheaper.
But it is a completely different situation with consoles. Biggest problem being that they'll never lower the damned price without competition. Consoles will probably move to a dual release system and eventually an optional model with no disc drive. Doubt we'll ever see physical media on consoles go away entirely.
That's actually pretty damned bad for a supposed sale. I bought it for $29.99 online back in December. Really annoying how retail is still cheaper than downloading it. Cost of distribution is next to nothing and they still charge MSRP.
That might apply if it were a fresh gimmick. The Wii sold based entirely on hype for what people thought the Wiimote would add to the gaming experience. Yet if anything it detracted from gameplay and we were left with $250 repackaged Gamecube hardware.
Everyone has seen an iPad now and this gimmick isn't going to impress anyone.
