Making it an actual stealth game again would be a good start.
They didn't exactly pick the best looking game of each era. Should have compiled the top 5 from different genres of each year.
I was anticipating commenting about it pasting ads all over surfaces or something.... but that video is actually pretty damned cool. Could imagine some very interesting games be based on it. Especially multiplayer where the cameras could create a 3d map of the room and you battle in it.
But Sony does always have a problem transitioning between awesome tech demo potential and actual fully fledged games using the tech. PSEye and so far Move have been vastly underutilized. Sinc...
This list is terrible. Sure it's a list of great shows (not counting Sliders...) but I don't see any of these translating into a good game.
What are you going to do in Breaking Bad the game? Meth cooking minigame?

Definitely should help. Consoles are definitely holding back games graphically at this point. Just not worth it for developers to rework everything to actually push modern PC hardware.
Well it mostly matters because PS2 games look god awful on a modern LCD screen without the PS3's upscaling and smoothing. I bought a new PS3 just to preserve my launch one.
They really just need to work on software emulation and at the same time sell PS2 game downloads to justify the effort. Can't blame them too much for removing a chipset that likely added $40-50 to the manufacturing cost.

Yeah I'd say it's cheating. Everyone having the same control handicap is the only thing that makes console shooters even vaguely competitive. A mouse is just undeniably more accurate.
It was decent at the time but lacked any depth. More a tech showcase than anything. Big step backwards from Morrowind in every area that really matters. Gonna need a lot more content and depth in Skyrim to satisfy people who grew up before Xbox360.
Portal 2 was awesome but it's really just not enough of a complete package to deserve GoTY. Took 10 hours for me to beat the single and coop.... so now what? Also kinda got the feeling it was dumbed down a bit for consoles. Every level is totally linear with little replay value.
If there was a level creator with LBP style community distribution it would be hands down GoTY. Just imagine the impossibly complex stuff people would create. Could play that forever.
