Really? They don't think the U.S could think of something less convoluted, quicker, cheaper and more effective?
Has to be the most bizarre accusation between the U.S and Russia that I've seen in recent years.
Probably. It sometimes happens as franchises go through the years as the teams that work on the newer games are substantially, or sometimes completely, different.
Dead Space, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Battlefield are three that spring to mind. Mind you, it's no coincidence that those are all EA and two happen to be Bioware :s
To be fair, as good as it looks, FFVII is a remake of a 20+ year old game, whereas CP is a brand new franchise from the people who, much more recently, made what many consider to be one of the greatest games of all time.
I loved FFVII back in the day and will definitely play the remake, but I'm not expecting it to be one of my greatest games of all time. CP on the other hand, well, it wouldn't surprise me if it gets into my top 3.
No. And, in my opinion, the question isn't warranted in the first place as the story didn't struggle.
Yeah, my fav was Thunderforce 3. One of the best games on Megadrive/Genesis :)
Hmm, I seemingly didn't explain myself properly. My bad.
I'm not saying it has to be as difficult as DS, just that it needs to have depth, weight and challenge since it's melee based. Even the devs came out and said so, which was good to hear, they specifically used those words or words to that effect.
They've specifically said they want it to be challenging and have depth to the mechanics. Apparently that's the entire reason they r...
Looks like it's trying to be Star Wars: Uncharted Edition but it's going to have to have great combat with proper depth if it's truly going to stand out and be good.
Not convinced by the footage so far but, obviously, it's hard to judge how it will 'feel' when hands on. I'm hoping it will have some Dark Souls weight and some challenge to it but it probably won't.
Still, I respect Respawn so I think this has a chance.
Yeah, have to agree. Despite the fact it was another big step away from the survival horror/RE traditional style, it was immense fun couch co-op.
Not just the levels that were made to around the co-op feel, but all the teamwork in prioritising enemies and choosing who'd use what weapons, since various guns had pro's and con's.
Loved the first game. Trying to plan your base, barracks and traps for maximum efficiency was so engrossing and fun. Had award winning music too :)
Nice to see a preview where social identitypolitics/political correctness didn't rear it's ugly head. Ad block off...for now ;)
Interesting to read a bit of info I hadn't before, Johnny Silverhand having the second largest amount of dialogue in the game. Seems he doesn't just appear now and then for big occasions; they hired Keanu and they obviously want their money's worth, heh.
Like Kinder Eggs? Thing is, you still get chocolate when you buy one of those. Where's the 'chocolate' when you buy a loot box and get nothing useful?
So true, especially the bit about A Creed.
A definite 8.5 for me too. And I mean a 'real' 8.5, using the full 1-10 spectrum, as opposed to so many sites that seem to only include 5-10.
To be fair, many people won't be fanboys. They'll be like me, primarily a PC gamer or, perhaps, multiple console owners with a large backlog of games.
Didn't stop me or them from loving DG and putting all those other games on hold though.
That kind of challenge just isn't going to appeal to everyone. It's a shame since so many who pass that game up could actually do a lot better than they think if they were just willing to practice and put some effort in. When you do, it's so rewarding.
Yeah, Anthem being higher up is just grotesque.
Well deserved, glad the games playing public helped with favourable word of mouth to counteract the jaded/SJW media.
Like I and many have said, it has a couple of rough edges and the first 2-3 hours are a bit underwhelming but it picks up continuously as you go through the game - and it's a big game, much bigger than I hoped/expected.
Really hope there's a sequel.
What was he hoping for? Besides, having it all based on existing PC hardware means easier multi-platform development, surely? That's good for all of us, customers and devs, surely?
Look, at the moment, most gamers want solid 60fps to become standard AND have an increase in graphics/resolution. Get that sorted first and worry about innovating the hardware and game delivery later.
I thought that actress pretty much let slip that Last of Us 2 releases in February? Or has that been debunked?
Anyway, I'll be surprised if this is true about Ghosts. Happy, but surprised. I thought the latest most big games got release date announcements was 5 months or so before launch so if it's true I'd expect the announcement would have to be made very soon.
Good, another reason to replay this incredible game :)
Yeah, and the stupid thing is that people are going to scrutinise what CDPR are going to do and many aren't going to be happy no matter what.
Another silly thing is that some people might see this as some kind of progressive decision but in the CP world characters don't care about gender simply because people change their bodies so much none of that stuff matters anymore. That's why CDPR are making their character generator this way; they're doing this to b...
Well, it they can pull it off, that sounds like a really interesting couple of inspirational works, especially DX.
