So when Witcher came out, they criticised the lack of black people. Now they make a game with lots of black people and they're upset you can shoot them, just like you'll shoot dozens of whites, latinos, asians, mixed race etc,.
Yeah, an explanation that no one but a small, fanatical group of 21st century inquisition SJWs asked for.
Polygon, Eurogamer and Rock Paper Shotgun or starters, heh. Then you've got any random SJW and probably Sarkeesian, if she ever finds out about it :)
@mikeslemonade
What has 1st person camera got to do with supposed stereotypes? Change the camera all you want, the NPC's will be the same.
Hmm, I'm not sure you're right regarding the bit about if she was hetero, everything would carry on and no one would say anything. Quite the opposite in fact, in this day and age with the sort of gaming sites we've had for years now.
I'm not too interested in arguing the point but I would respectfully point out that part of the reason people are pleased to hear this response is precisely because there's a good chance that if he had confirmed she was het...
Well, they can re-use a lot of assets, almost in a Far Cry style way so maybe it's not too far out.
As @Shiken said, Ocarina to Majora's Mask was a quite a short time.
Yeah, I'm with you on this one.
Nothing means more to me than actual gameplay footage, showing off mechanics and giving me as much insight as possible into how the game might feel.
The fancy trailers can be as cool as they want, they don't actually tell you much about the gameplay itself. I think they should release the trailers in the build up to E3, to increase interest and hype, and then give show gameplay at the actual event, seeing as though...
Nah, I'm with you mate, I'm looking forward to it much more than the last one in fact.
I really eye-rolled and groaned in disappointment as comments started to roll in about Brexit. And, of course, a couple of main stream sites are starting to act like it's a political statement against leaving the EU. I expect more and more will jump on the band wagon by the time more news of the game comes out.
They tried (succeeded?) to make Far Cry 5 and...
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Recruiting anyone, literally anyone, sounds amazing but they can't all have personalities, interesting backstories and characterful voice acting with interweaves with other recruits, surely?
I applaud the idea though and, of course, will withhold judgement but it seems like a mighty tall order. Still, at least they're aiming high :)
Agreed.
Honestly, so many people seem to want to only do Brexit if they can know with absolute certainty how things will go for years to come but it's impossible. It's just too big and complex. Too many variables, too many knock on effects, too many independent bodies making hard to predict decisions.
It's one of those things you just have to do and believe you can make the best of it. It's like some of the big decisions we make in our ...
Can you run it at 1080 with 60fps? I'll take that over 4k 30fps any day. I hope it's an option.
@CornDogBurglar
Well, technically they originally stated it would be 3rd person so when they announced it would be 1st person one could argue it was a 'move'. I'm talking way back between 2013 and 2016. That's why they had to explain the decision for 1st person to everyone and why there was a bit of an upset in the community.
However, I think using 1st person is the best choice for this game, so if you're assuming I don't like ...
I'm curious, is it the move from 3rd to 1st person that bothers you?
Yeah, after Fallout 76, I'll take what he says with a pinch of salt.
Could 'potentially'? So nothing conclusive then?
Also, is it that strange for someone to have an increased interest in something they've seen and had fun with in fiction/entertainment?
'Kids playing tennis, hockey and football video games could potentially lead to an interest in sport'. Not so strange put like that is it? And no, it isn't different. Developing an interest in guns doesn't mean you've developed an interes...
If this means Death Stranding could be played on the PS5 at 60fps, then I might just wait. Unless the game reviews unbelievably well, especially with users and by word of mouth. If that's the case, I'll cave ;)
Well, yes and no.
If someone can afford a good gaming pc, they can afford a console.
I have a PS4 Pro and nin Switch but when it comes to what could be a masterpiece from Kojima, I'd rather have it on a platform that can support 60fps.
The idea that an avid gamer would spend 1000-2000 on a pc but then sit jealously looking at a consoles exclusives is.....well, I'm sure you can guess. It's something along the lines of beli...
I've never seen pc as a direct competitor, nor Nintendo for the past few years actually.
I have a gaming pc and a PS4 Pro so it's not too big a deal but I'd just prefer games at 60fps is possible. If my Pro could do DS at that, then I wouldn't care what platform it's on.
The brand can be strong and still release for pc a year or so down the line, especially with the PS4 being near the end of its lifecycle. Yeah, PS5 backwards comp...
You want that lovely 60fps, am I right?
Heh, you're right, I did forget them. I suppose I should count that as a blessing, hehe.
