That was Bioware...
Exactly. Impatient people can buy the loot boxes for a lucky chance/more coins. Other people, like myself, just hoard their gold like a miserly dragon.
I'm always dissapointed when I see Sony take a bad play from the opponent's camp. I hated to see the whole timed-exclusive DLC BS that Microsoft started last gen. Hopefully they don't do this in any of their other games. Very disappointing.
That console was gorgeous too. I just got a 4K tv (because I had to use up my rewards points before they deteriorated). Long story short, I was gonna wait til the PS5, but with my new tv and the Spider-Man console reveal, I had to have it.
I mean, yeah it makes sense from a consumer standpoint to do what you suggest, but as a business, it makes more sense to make it a gamble. I'm happy with what they do, so long as it's always cosmetics and that money is used to help fund more content for free. I have 50k coins saved up (I play a lot) and I've never purchased a loot box. I understand why people would want to, and I like the system they've created. If people were able to simply buy out what they wanted from the s...
Same on the getting a third console (giving one to my good friend). Game of the Year may be tough with God of War and Red Dead, though I most certainly hope it gets a nod. This looks amazing (pun intended).
I don't think these games are that much fun. Maybe if they had better storytelling, I could forgive it a bit. Not to say they're bad games, I just know there are better options (for me at least).
Tools of Destruction was my favorite in the series because you upgraded your guns through use and through a currency, each ending up with a huge boost. When maxed out on both fronts, each weapon was quite different and way more powerful. Loved it.
All I need to know about any game that Naughty Dog is making is that it's Naughty Dog who's making the game. I'm sold. I don't even want any spoilers. After five years TLoU still sits at #1 for me, and I'm always about change and new industry advancements. Story and storytelling are the two big things I look for when playing a single player game, and TLoU has yet to be topped (for me at least).
Haha exactly. These people are ridiculous. Just because you didn't write the article doesn't mean another publication didn't. These "journalists" need to inform themselves.
This will be my third PS4 (my first PS4 Pro). I just couldn't help it, I love the simplicity of the design. I do wish the underside of the controller was blue though. I think PS4 will finish at over 110 mil when all is said and done. Don't forget, that price will drop eventually!
I would have to agree with ya there, monkey.
Comes out the day before my birthday! Look forward to playing it on my fresh Spider-Man PS4 Pro :3
Probably because they had the gameplay/story reveal at Microsoft's conference even though it was teased at PSX. I watched it knowing that I was gonna be playing it on my PS4 anyway (like most games at Microsoft conferences). Don't make no difference to me, if I game looks good I'll buy it.
Xbox One XXX (Vin Diesel sold separately).
I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with their new studios. Their perspicacious attitude toward advancing their standing in the industry has me curious. My question is; will they allow their studios a bit more free reign (a la Playstation) or continue what they do with their current studios? As a creative mind, I know I'd like a bit more freedom, it helps the industry grow. If it's the former, I'll probably pick up the next gen Xbox, if not, then I'll pass. I'm ...
Preordered.
My thoughts exactly.
Ah okay. Well, it was nice to get the trilogy on my PS3 eventually. I forgot about that, it was so long ago. I want another Jade Empier!
