I'm sorry sir, but I'm not a blind follower of Kojima. Even industry titans are capable of making mistakes. This is especially true if everyone worships them, then they get high off their own farts and think they can turn iron into gold.
This is something that's been plaguing the entertainment industry. A lot of artist/creators try too hard to be "mysterious" and "open for interpretation." It's almost like they're using it as an excuse for, "I have no idea what the fuck I'm creating, I'll just let the audience fill in the blanks for themselves." I honestly can't stand pretentious storytelling of any art form.
This is worrisome. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that he's trying to be innovative. But at the very least, you have to know what you're making. If I was a shareholder, I'd be worried. What is this game about? What genre is it, and who does it appeal to? Most importantly, is it fun? Being innovative isn't enough. It still has to be a good time at the end of the day. This is a video game, not a movie.
No thanks. I'll continue to call out a pathological liar for what she is.
This is something that has become common ever since 2009. Games like Modern Warfare 2 popularized the idea of letting you win achievements and accolades without actually winning the match. So your whole team can focus on the game-mode objective, while you could be fucking around in the background trying to complete tasks that unlock a particular accolade/achievement.
Even some of my favourite modern multiplayer shooters are guilty of this. TitanFall2 is a game I've spent many hou...

I feel sorry for all the hardworking developers at GearBox, working their asses off trying to make a great game. Meanwhile this shitbag here is turning himself into a PR disaster for the company. Someone should definitely replace him
Why the fuck would anyone trust Sony with another handheld, especially after they treated Vita owners like shit?
Yeah right.... this is not what I call "support." Support would be continuously releasing great games over the years and not abandoning Vita owners. The 3DS also had a rough first couple years but Nintendo didn't give up and call it a "legacy system"
KillZone Shadowfall was a borefest. GG has wrote themselves into a hole with the story for that game. I don't know how they're going to fix that.
Resistance has much better gameplay, world building, story, enemy designs, weapon variety, campaigns, etc. In terms of campaigns, Resistance is leagues better. But in terms of online multiplayer, I'd give that trophy to KZ.
Insomniac has been very adamant about not coming back to the Resistance series. They've said this numerous times over the years during podcasts, interviews, AMA threads, etc.
As for a "Resistance Remaster," Insomniac has stated that they're not in the business of making remasters. It's just not something they're interested in doing. The closest thing they did was a "re-imagining" of the first RatchetandClank game. They said that if fans ...
Um what? That's a completely different studio from Insomniac. Plus I don't think Sony would launch the system with Knack of all series, it hasn't been the most well-received.
These people in the article do no fucking research.
Insomniac has stated NUMEROUS times over the years that they will no longer work on Resistance games. They made an official statement in 2012, and over the years they stayed consistent in the same message. They keep saying that they'll no longer work on Resistance in podcasts, interviews, reddit AMA threads, etc.
Not to mention, Sony has also stated that they no longer have plans for the series.
It...
Resistance series should be multiplat. The servers for the game got canned early because of the low player-count. Resistance needs all the help it can get, or else I fear that history will repeat itself. I'm a huge fan of the series and I want to see it succeed. If that means going multiplat, then so be it!
Resistance series should come to Xbox as well. I'm pretty sure back in the PS3 days, a lot of 360 owners would've loved Resistance if they got the chance to play it. The 360 was known for appealing to the first-person-shooter crowd. If Resistance had a larger audience (aka multiplatform), the series wouldn't have been cancelled. :(
This seems like a case of low self-esteem moderators who are using their mod-privileges as a power-trip. Also, I don't think GearBox of all people should be morality-policing, especially when their CEO is rumoured to have kiddie porn on his USB stick
I agree. I've seen better. Look at the artist known as Alex Ross. Now that is stunning detail. I'd love to see him draw Chrono Trigger characters
Now that's the type of diversity I wanna see.
Finally, there's a developer in this industry (besides Rockstar Games) that actually has a pair.
These people are insane.....
In the future, I wouldn't be surprised if FPS games no longer have guns.
