Thank you so much for posting this. Comments like yours restore my faith in this community. I'm glad Vita owners are speaking up about this instead of gobbling up this new rumoured handheld. It's sad because the Vita had so much potential. It was the handheld I've always dreamed of. But Sony decided to quit supporting it within the first few years. It's a damn shame. We could've gotten some of the lesser-known series to continue on the Vita. For example, I would've lov...
Really? Do you trust Sony to support this new handheld in the long term? Look at how they treated Vita fans. They gave up within the first few years.
Meanwhile, the Nintendo 3DS also had a rough first few years with low sales, but Nintendo didn't give up and call it a "legacy system." They stuck by their product and fans, and ended up delivering a vast line of titles over the years. Now it's a "must-own" for any gamer.
Yeah, and watch them abandon this new handheld if it doesn't sell enough in it's beginning years. Like they did with the Vita. I know this community is very "Sony centric," but NO ONE can tell me that Sony didn't fuck over Vita fans. I don't trust Sony to support a new handheld.
There was nothing wrong with the campaign, it was thoroughly enjoyable. But the online is a different mess.
Combat in Bioshock was "unecessary?" I'm sorry, what? lol
When you bought the game, did you expect a movie or a video game? Bioshock wouldn't be anywhere near as popular if it weren't for the gameplay
Microsoft will take the "indie" charm out of this independent studio. I highly doubt Microsoft Studios will give the developers freedom. They'll probably force them to mainstream the game with unnecessary multiplayer. What a shame.
Even reviewers who liked the game admit that it's boring to play. That's when you know it's a problem. When you have guys like YongYea say things like "the gameplay is not for everyone," that's code for "the gameplay sucks, but I'm too much of a coward to say so because I got a free review-copy, so I'll just continue to suck the game's dick." Even hardcore Kojima fans are saying." Just by watching his review, you can tell he's trying wa...
You probably shat yourself playing No Russian. This mission wasn't even that bad lol
Everyone overhyped it as "crossing the line," not even close.
I really hope not. I'm getting tired of the "connected cinematic universe" trope in movies. And I just hope that shit doesn't cross over to video games. Let OuterWorlds be it's own franchise :/
I really hope this game does well. I'm worried because I don't know if releasing a new IP during the Christmas season is a good idea considering that's when all the heavy hitters come out. I want this game to do well, it looks absolutely brilliant from what I've seen so far. Sucker Punch is a great studio, and I don't want this game to be overshadowed.
A similar thing happened to one of my favourite games of all time last generation. During the PS3 era, ...
Is it really that bad? I'm curious, did you enjoy the music in the previous DQ games?
That, I disagree with. DQ4, 5, 6,7 and 8 all had great soundtracks from what I've played. Even the spinoffs like DQ:Monsters 1 and 2 on the gameboy had great music too. Maybe you're just not into classical music
I've been hearing this quite a lot from DQ fans. Tsk tsk. It'd be awesome if they could release a patch that replaces the OST with better music.
Cant wait to play the least populated servers of any BF game. Oh what fun...
Why would I be joking? It's a strong possibility that Microsoft exclusives will no longer be "exclusives."
Oh, how the mighty have fallen. When I hear stories like this, it only solidifies my decision to never buy another Xbox console in my life. There really is no point in owning one. Anyways, I'm excited to see Gears 6 come to the PS5.
Exactly. He's most likely coming from a place of fanboyism.
SunsetOverdrive and InFamous are both open-world action games, but they're still very different from each other. Both are amazing series in their own right.
If you thought Sunset was repetitive, how on earth did you not think inFamous was repetitive as well? They're both equally "repetitive" in terms of gameplay variety.
It's very obvious you didn't play more than an hour of the game. I don't know if your comment was coming from a place of PS4 fanboyism or something like that. I'm a huge PS4 fan myself, but I'd never degrade a good game that came out on another console. I've beaten Sunset O...
God of War felt like a breath of fresh air. And Gears 5 (while impressive) is still more of the same. It's only a slightly small upgrade from Gears 4.
Just checked as of 11:10pm Eastern Standard Time.
The deal is gone. It's back to $60 :(
