Although I think it was a dick-move for the company to not include her in the credits. I must say, she started acting like an entitled brat. I'm sorry bud, but you only worked as an intern for a short period of time and your influence in the project is nowhere near as big as you make it to be. Good luck finding another job in the industry with that level of entitlement.

Dude, I know it's cool to hate on Kotaku. I also can't stand them either. But having an abundance of RPG elements CAN definitely break the experience and feel too overwhelming. This is absolutely valid criticism because if you want to play the game efficiently/effectively without dying too much, you are forced to learn the inventory/menu/upgrade system which can suck the fun out of the experience. God of War series has always been known for having light RPG mechanics. It has always be...

Horizon Zero Dawn was the better game that year. I cannot even being to explain my astonishment when I saw other game sites give Breath of the Wild the "GotY award" for best adventure game. I'm like, are we in the same universe? Are people dick riding the Zelda brand name that hard? HZD was leagues better in every sense. To this day, I feel crazy thinking about it.

I attribute it to the lack of good soundtracks. One of the reasons I loved the previous entries is because the developers weren't shy to include loud bombastic soundtracks during gameplay. They were memorable/beautiful pieces of music. But BotW unfortunately gives the soundtrack the Hollywood formula, and turns the music into soft background ambiance. It's a shame. This is a video game, not a movie.

Ocarina of Time was an amazing product in all aspects.

Don't know why everyone's complaining. I for one, am looking forward to getting this once it hits the $20 bargain bin.

To this day, I will always be amazed with the PS3's comeback, particularly the later half of its' life span. The first few years were rough, but once 2009 hit and we got exclusives like Uncharted 2, that was the game that made the world stop spinning. Everyone couldn't stop talking about it. And after that, it only got better with God of War 3, Infamous 2, KZ3, LBP2, Resistance 3, so many exclusives. They nailed it with the countless amount of exclusives.

The 36...

Rockstar needs to understand their audience. The type of subject matter that these games focus on does not fit in conjunction with "woke" politics. I understand that we live in a world where everyone is learning to be more inclusive/kinder to eachother, that's a great thing. But that's NOT what GTA is about.

Sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll have never been about "respect women!!!" It's been about toxic fun. That's what the audience wan...

I don't know why people are acting like this is out of the bounds of reality. 3 hour games/ shorter game lengths probably IS the future. Human beings attention spans are not getting any longer. They're actually getting shorter. Look at the success of apps like tiktok and reels in general. Smaller bite-sized content is something people prefer, that is a fact.

Even CoD games have been doing this for the past few years, as every campaign is become shorter and shorter. ...

I'm a huge fan of the GoW trilogy. For some bizzarre reason, I couldn't get into GoW4 no matter how hard I tried. I could go back and play the original trilogy without feeling a hint of boredom, but for the new one, it's just not the same. I guess the Greek mythology setting was a main attraction for me. I'm not as passionate for Norse as everyone else is.

Crash 4 was the game fans wanted for YEARS. I grew up on the original series from the 90s and fans have been waiting for a faithful sequel that stands close to the shoulders of the NaughtyDog games. Crash4 is amazing, and I encourage everyone to support the game. Unfortunately, it didn't do well in sales, so us fans are worried about the future of the franchise.

Newfound Courage huh? Does the game take place in Saudi Arabia or something? That is indeed brave

Many American writers nowadays are too coddled to tackle sensitive subject matter. Whenever a new Tarantino movie comes out, or a new GTA game, or South Park episode, it's always the American critics that whines the loudest.

I really enjoy that the Fallout games got the "Elder Scrolls treatment" with the creation of FO3.
The first two Fallout titles are really hard to get into, especially nowadays. The over-the-top isometric perspective, lack of good sound design, etc. It's just not appealing. I'm so glad they went with the changes they've decided upon when developing FO3, because it introduced the fascinating world of Fallout to people who never would've touched the series if i...

Why in the actual fuck would anyone even consider playing these types of games with a keyboard/mouse is beyond me. FPS games, I understand, but this ain't an FPS.

"Plenty of systems out there."
Lol what? Considering how hard it is for people to find PS5s in stores due to shortages, the developers absolutely should've made cross-gen play a priority

The difference is that the people who are putting 2000 hours into CoD are actually having fun. They're playing because they enjoy the competitive online gameplay.

In a lot open-world games, the extra 400 hours of content feels like a chore. It feels like you're playing out of obligation rather than for fun. During the whole PS4/XONE generation, this has been a common problem for open world titles.

It's a zombie apocalypse game, bro. I highly doubt you'll get "Lord of the Rings" quality in a product like this. Zombie invasion fiction has been around for so long, I doubt this is going to break any grounds and be worth 100+ hours.

What's with these open world games giving players 500 hours of boring chores? Every time I touch these 500hour long games, they're mostly only fun for the first 10-30 hours, and then it just becomes a "job" because it's no longer fun.

I can't imagine wasting away my precious time for video game chores. There's a difference between playing a game for fun VS playing out of obligation.
