Just wait a little while longer!
-Sony's battle-cry since Nov. 2006
It was originally supposed to be specially marked boxes, but word on the street was that it was widened to all copies. Still, if you're thinking about making a quick run to Gametop (shame on you), the sticker certainly won't hurt.
Massive losses, exploding batteries, slow sales, and it's nothing but cheers.
You might as well just throw up (your hands) and walk away.

It's even still the same day, and people are acting like their world blew up.
Linkplz?
As I once said during the Halo 2 launch, when I had to wake up and go to class (and take a test) at 8am the next day:
If you miss school/work to play a game, you are an idiot.
Please re-evaluate your priorities in life.
-HD-DVD is quality slightly better (you'd have to have them in the same room).
-HD-DVD players (and often DVDs) often cost significantly less.
-And as said, the only reason BluRay is selling more is because of PS3 and the movie industry's lack of support for HD-DVD. Standalone HD-DVD players still outsell BluRay standalones, so the hardware isn't doing any better in and of itself. And yes, HD-DVD versions of movies often outsell BluRay, so head-to-head, BluRay movies still lose....
ONLY people trying to get in through Crackdown are having issues.
Yet this is exclusively Bungie's fault for not getting the Beta working? That's odd. The Friends and Family, Rule of Thr33, and other assorted people already playing the Beta seem to disagree.
The Beta hasn't been delayed- it's that there's some sort of problem trying to get Crackdown to unlock. And these sorts of things ALWAYS happen with Betas.
Just pleeease optimize it for the Gamecube controller instead of the wand. Everyone I know that's interested in this game also really doesn't want to be flailing around trying to paly this- enough people have already been elbowed or accidentally hit with a controller without adding in actual flailing of arms to the mix.
Haven't used the Wii in about a month.
Been using 360 and NDS (and PC in fact).
Bash TheMart all you want, and it still won't change these horrific numbers for Sony.
The best solution is not to let your console overheat in the first place. Launch-made 360 gotten Christmas Eve, works fine. It's been left on overnight, dropped off a shelf- doing jsut fine.
Note that he actually said:
"To try to build Second Life on Xbox Live --or YouTube, Facebook, any of those big social networking services and sites--it's a lot of work".
And yet, the only thing anyone cares about was that he mentioned Second Life. What he's doing is pulling a tour of major social networks and looking at the plusses and minuses of all.
Agreed with above.
Sony should have skipped their diatribe about BluRay, and launched alongside 360 with a competitively priced box, with the add-on for the fraction of the audience that wanted it. Instead, they launched too late with barely any games to support the console. And they're still gambling the company on a disc format that's soon to be replaced- even Sony admits they're looking to move to on-demand and digital download services in the near future. As are Microsoft, Apple, m...
Oh Good God-
"And they want the developer in America, first and foremost. A lot of the reason behind that is cultural. Since 9/11 American publishers have become a lot more insular. That's going to continue to be a key issue, it's a worrying factor."
Yup. There you have it, folks. The terrorists have won again. 9/11 has made game development a lost art.

Back in reality, look at Wii and Xbox Live Arca...
Precisely.
Everything really does just FEEL right. The maps are intuitive. The grenade distance and arc is how it should be. The Assault Rifle is the perfect starting weapon- good enough that you don't feel helpless, but it's a jack-of-all-trades weapon so you always want something more specialized. You would prefer to have a Shotty up close, or a Carbine at range. But the AR still does reasonable well against both in most situations.
Halo 3, even in Beta form, really do...

That's the dumbest post I've ever read on the entire interwebs.
Asda? Uhhh... who the hell are they, and why is this news?
There are lots of very valid reasons why this is happening.
Randomly:
1) Some developers don't like game sharing. Itagaki, for instance, usually still locks his saves so they can't be transferred to other consoles. No idea why they do this, but that's the developers' choice, and Microsoft is enforcing that.
2) It's so very lame to cheat up your Gamerscore. It's like going to the Army surplus store, buying a Purple Heart, and then claiming you've been to wa...
Yeah, a very well-reviewed game that just got badass DLC. That's terrible! Heh- I've even been jumping ot of the H3 beta to play some Crackdown since it launched.
[And yes, check bungie.net for updates- this issue should either be solved VERY shortly, or a solution will hit firly shortly (into tomorrow at latest, according to current info)]
