If they can, they should launch earlier, like September or October. This would give their first party titles a bit of time to themselves before all the third party stuff shows up in November.
It'll almost certainly be a misplaced sense of obligation disguised as "it's got better exclusives!"
hopefully, anyone paying attention the last several years will realize that's not going to be the case.
I think the biggest difference it will make is with parents buying a console for their kids. Put the two side by side with equal prices and the PS4 is still a better value, toss in a $100 price difference and it's a no brainer.
I think the analogy stands, but it was perhaps on the extreme side.
Buying an Xbox after what they pulled is like giving a pedofile a job at a daycare because they promised not to be a pedo any more.
I think this looks like it'll be a lot of fun. Unless something goes drastically wrong, I'll pick it up day one.
It's both, had Sony's preorders not been blowing them out of the water, they would have stuck to their guns.
I don't think they will, but they certainly can't be trusted. They'll have to do way more than this to earn people's trust.
I'm sure some will, but most that preordered have probably hyped themselves up for that console, so I'm still expecting Xbox to struggle initially. But at least now no ones getting screwed, people can make decisions based on the hardware and the games.
I thought these two were already pretty well known.
I'll tell you someone who needs a lot less attention, Cliff....
It does look good, but I can't imagine anyone tired of COD not looking at TitanFall and seeing anything other than COD with Mechs.
It's not due to demand. The amount of preorders available for the Xbone is a fraction of those available for the PS4.
Our GameStop had 6 Xbox reserves available and 46 PS4.
They started with 20 PS4 slots but later got it increased due to demand.
More excited for this right now than the new Mario game.
Bet it's quicker than that when EA is staring down a big gap n user base between the two consoles.
I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't going to start work on it now. If cod moves more units on ps4, you might be looking at a very short window to PS4s TitanFall.
I think I believe them. There's a good possibility that when they analyzed the program, they found it to be less profitable than expected.
@tuglu open your eyes, this is not a N4G thing. It's everywhere.
Yeah, the only people who actually think this thing will survive is Microsoft.
My wife manages a Gamestop. They were only given 6 preorder slots for the Xbone which they finally filled yesterday. They were given 20 for the PS4 and due to high demand, they were given 18 more.
She has some pretty hardcore 360 fans on staff, even they all bailed and preordered the PS4.
I've never seen anything quite so one sided.
Don't worry, it'll come to PS4. After this showing, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't already start the port. No way EA doesn't capitalize on what will easily be a larger install base on the PS4.
Maybe, out of respect for others, you shouldn't use gay with a negative connotation...
