It's good that they don't seem really focused on making Kinect games, but its bad that your paying upwards of $100 extra to have it packed in if they're only using it for gimmicky things like menu navigation.
@gamer 7 is half of 14, but that's not what they're saying. Check your math and retread the post.
No reason to think it would stay that way.
They're not even releasing in all of Europe, they sure aren't releasing at the same time in Japan, if at all.
Even better if my Logitech wheel worked, fingers crossed.
Times are very different from when Dream cast's days.
Wonder if it'll stay that way?
Ok.
This is good. I wonder if there will be a campaign of any kind or if it'll just be the tools...
WiiU will be fine, August starts a long run of new games for the system.
Will it sell like the PS4, no, but will it die, absolutely not. Too many good games coming for it.
If, by some strange reason I'm wrong, then gamers have made a huge mistake by letting 'shiny' stand in the way of 'fun'
Octodad.
Not in house, I know, but it looks so fun.
This just makes me want a new punch out now.
But could new characters be both different enough from the originals and still strong enough for us to make that same connection we did with Joel and Ellie?
They should go for a new IP and let this stand alone in all its glory.
How do they get the human?
I hope they do a sequel to DK64 some day. An open ended adventure platformer would be nice on the new system.
I think it'll be good for the one, but personally, I can't imagine a fighting game awesome enough to make me buy a console.
The only ones that will screw it up are the devs.
Right now, its looking good, but fighters are fickle, it doesn't take much to mess one up, it must have a large roster and well balanced characters.
The franchise has the style, now they just have to deliver on the mechanics. We just won't know until its done. I'm hoping they do well, so if I ever get the Xbone I'll pick it up.
Note* the Xbone could screw it up if that new d-pa...
I'd say they haven't truly failed until they just quit making them or don't make a follow up console. But it really depends on your metric.
Regardless, WiiU hasn't failed yet. It may not be super powerful, but it has good games with even more on the way. Monoliths game looks awesome and we still have the first HD releases of Nintendo's franchises.
Monster Hunter says hello.
I'm not making predictions on what we'll see from gamescom, I'd think they'll show a few unannounced exclusives, but don't want to get my hopes up if they plan on holding out.
