@Ausbo, not just like Microsoft. Sony already confirmed the system requires NO Internet connection. If a dev wants to implement this on PS4, they'd have to require the game be online only and there'd have to support the drm on their own. Microsoft built it into the system. Big difference.
You can't install it twice. You can give them the game. Then it is locked to their system. You do not get to keep it on your system.
Regardless of all this drm garbage, the system is considerably weaker than the PS4. I don't see why anyone would want to put up with this garbage for a gimped system anyway.
I will be absolutely amazed if live fees don't go up. Or even better, they drop the silver and require a monthly fee for every system.
No, it will be removed from your console. This is designed to keep people from passing around a single player game and theoretically, increasing sales. It's a scam.
Built in China.
Yesterday, I would have said Planetside 2, because I think that'll be an awesome addition to the system. But they announced it today so I'm hoping to see what Sony Santa Monica is working on.
Come one, come all!
Looks like fun.
That can't be a good sign.
Why wouldn't they? They've got F2P games on PS3 and PS+ is only getting more popular. There's no need to charge for online.
I'm not sure that the format for the 3ds game has changed, they just used 3d graphics.
Make better games.
Don't put so much money into 8 hour experience.
Give me an open ended game with a variety of things to do and used games will diminish.
I don't mean, get rid of shorter, focused experiences, just keep the budget in check.
I think it's just a list of Sony published games.
Having said that, I doubt if accurate that it's complete. There's bound to be mention of Naughty Dog and Sony Santa Monica's next games.
I too hope they don't spend much time on these, maybe five minutes combined. But, I will tell you, wonderbook and invisimals are both actually pretty cool. I wouldn't buy them for myself, but I have them for my son and they're fun.
That would be amazing. I'm also hoping to hear about Planetside 2 on the PS4.
I'll let you know next Monday evening.
It's either some deranged loyalty or a specific franchise they can't live without. I don't see how else it can be justified.
I'd like multiple stories. They could factor race into the game and depending on the one you choose, it would place you with an entirely separate main quest. NPCs would treat you differently, etc... Coop would be cool, but I don't know exactly how they could get it to work, unless you choose the person you're cooping with and all of that is done separately from your sp game.
Option for the hatchet instead of the knife.
Desert Eagle. 50
option to dual wield handguns instead of a primary.
Use classes from bc2
tracer dart.
I'm real excited to hear more on each one they've already announced, but I really hope to see a new fantasy RPG of some kind announced. Preferably a new ip.
No Internet required. It isn't possible for them to have the same thing. I know it must hurt your feelings, don't worry though, I'm sure Microsoft wont charge too much to wipe away those tears.
