I hope you like your Xbox. I'm holding out until it comes down in price and they can show they're actually committed to gaming. I don't want a repeat of last gen.
I care.
People still like disks, going to the store, interacting with others, peeling off the plastic, that new game smell that probably causes cancer....it's good stuff.
I'm almost certain Bungie already confirmed they are using their own servers.
That won't always be true. If this game doesn't step it up significantly, expect the next COD to do poorly. New gen will change opinions, if it playsliketheold ones and doesn't do something that feels next gen, it will fail.
Define fine.
I too think they'll be fine, but I often think my idea of fine and others' are far apart.
I'm thinking fine as in, will still sell a lot, but not as much as they're claiming to have sold of the 360. Which, to MS, may not be fine.
I was considering picking this up for my WiiU. I wouldn't have played the mp anyway, but I won't be buying this half product at the same price as the PS3 version. I won't buy it at all now.
Or even better, don't slow on anything and pick up on the jrpg front.
Really looking forward to this game, looks like a lot of fun.
The number 1 problem with WiiU right now is a lack of games. If they can start putting out product at half the rate of the 3ds, their situation will improve significantly.
Once they get the games rolling, then they should look at a price reduction.
This whole "including things that should be optional" situation seems so familiar...
Glad it's coming to ps3, but if they localize it ill go ahead and pick it up for the WiiU.
I'm sure gamescom will be great, but I doubt we'll ever get an official statement before the system releases. I'm confident whatever the split, it won't be am issue otherwise devs wouldn't be so thrilled to work with Sony. I'd expect this whole issue to be pretty much forgotten by the end of gamescom.
I guess they mean Kinect only control, but you do make a valid point.
Worth it.
True, but I do like that there are ways to bump the percentage up by damaging the monsters in certain ways, breaking faces, claws, backs, etc...
It's hard to beat that feeling of accomplishment after farming a monster and finally getting that rare drop.
I'm expecting the PS4 before November. They seem quite a bit ahead with their system and they know Microsoft is aiming at November. They'd be wise, if they can, to release a few weeks before cod and bf4 so their first party titles had time on the shelves alone.
I wish other loot based games would play more like monster hunter, instead of creatures dropping gear they drop ingredients used to craft gear. It makes your equipment feel earned instead of lucking into it.
I wonder if this lends any credit to the rumors that they weren't originally planning to release this year?
Holy....
