That's pretty petty.
Not if there still remained an alternative. I can't lie though, if they all blocked them, I'd be upset, but I'd get one.
I like your idea of being able to replace parts if they fail, but an upgrade would fracture the user base and not be well supported.
1-4 all also represent potential dlc sales and online passes. In addition, they represent a way to play a series you might not otherwise try, get into it, and buy the next one new... Only people against used games are corporate tools, someone ask devs, they're gamers, get their opinions.
Rumor is PS4 will release at the same time in Japan and the US
Yeah, if you remove the cost of retail, they could lower prices. Of course, they could just leave the prices the same. Look at dlc, how often do those prices drop? Never or rarely and when they do its usually for a limited time. Why would anyone think that would change now? I find it funny people rag on places like GameStop for trying to make money while giving people a deal (maybe not the best but still something) but are fine with Microsoft and whatever unnamed publishers that are supportin...
Who gives a $hit about an American company if they're manufacturing off shore any way? Not to mention the American attitude that comes with it; "oh let's just advertise the hell out of our system, we don't really need games"
If Microsoft does this they must have, what they think is, a strong 3rd party backer. Ea seems to be clearly supporting both systems but what about Activision? Wouldn't surprise me a bit to see them give Microsoft a ton of their IPs exclusively if this rumor turns out true.
My wife works at Gamestop, she said the ceo sent out a message recently dispelling the rumors tha 500 stores were closing .
You might have heard it, but last report was that you could not play on the gamepad. Hope I'm wrong or hope they changed it though.
Do you mean 'looks' as in graphics, then yes. But with MH, the gameplay is where its at and I'll have to see a lot more of this game before I could make that call.
They won't, pretty sure they're going minimal effort on this one, like they have since MHFreedom
I really think they'll both be announced before E3, with E3 really showcasing new games and features. I doubt they will announce this year and not release this year, a shorter hype time would be better. I'm hoping for a Sept-Oct release, but that's probably wishful thinking.
This is like picking the smartest person in Arkansas, it doesn't mean much.
They aren't sold out here, my wife works at gamestop and they were shipped six, three still there.
I really liked Lair, there were definatly some issues and missed opportunity, but overall, I was very happy with my release day purchase. Brink was a bit of a let down, but still good, a solid 7, but in this day that might as well be a 0.
It's the customer's responsibility to decide what's fair or not. If they think it's unfair, they shouldn't make the deal. Right now, their price structure is working, for them and their customers. When it stops, they will adjust their pricing.
Gamestop is a megacorporation with 1000's of stores across the country, there's bound to be a d-bag or two working for them, it doesn't mean the entire company is bad.
That's not been my expereince, my wife works at gamestop and they're all just nice people trying to make a living.
They are great! Something about progression in these games are so addictive, there is no leveling up, you only get stronger by better understanding the monsters and by crafting new weapons and armor all made from monster parts and gathered materials.
In addition, I've found the online community for tri to be extremely positive and friendly, it is rarely hard to find someone willing to help you out if needed and the sense of teamwork when taking down one of the beasts i...
