between the 4 points of view and the emotional aspect and the good Vs. evil being subjective through choice...sounds like the movie Crash with some added elements...sounds cool, but would love to see more.
disagrees randomly it seems sometimes (watch me get some for revealing this sad truth....HA!) I honestly don't get it.
how the site has links to buy the games they abolish to such a fate...
I still want to know if this is just a strategy for Europe, I would think a NA price cut is pending but all I keep seeing is stuff on the EU price cut....
is a hack job at proper writing. I've got such a pet peeve when people cannot correctly articulate their thoughts to that degree, I can't even follow the thoughts of the author. I hate being a grammar nazi, but it's so easy to learn to write/speak properly. You have to admit it takes away from the validity of the info. If you have issues, run grammar check before publishing something where you're attempting to garner a following of support and get people to agree with you, it'll work better. ...
Those movies you list are mostly well done movies in most people's opinions, so like it's been said below, I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic...
Max Payne is just about the best game to ever come out on the PC if you ask me (although I have yet to play Half-Life, strangely enough) and the sequel was nearly as good. I hope this project doesn't get the game-->movie curse.....we could use a successful translation to show it can be done.
And to all those comme...
Actually Kristen Kruek is half Chinese (and half Dutch), her mother was 100%.
who thoroughly enjoys the look of the "3D sprites" they've worked up; I think it's beautiful, of course though I went to school for that stuff so I have a different opinion (not saying it's more valid due to my background, just different). For some reason this style has disappointed a lot of folks, I love it. And by the way I don't feel the 32X could handle it, technically I feel it's pretty advanced actually...
Anyone hear about the Street Fighter movie they're worki...
I'm a gamer not any fanboy, but this reply by MS is fanboyish drivel, it sounds like he's a snotty nosed middle schooler saying mine's better than yours. Why dignify the article if it's such crap? You don't see Nintendo saying "But we have motion sensing focus in our games" or Sony saying "But we have a BD player built in" whenever some crack journalist does a special on his OPINIONS. C'mon MS.
I think they best spend time spinning the RROD catastrophe, not ...
more interested in the single player for the game oddly enough. But I swear to God if it's as lackluster in design as the few spots in Battlefield 2's single player (the glitches and slowdown) I'll be "accidentally" breaking that disc in half in a fit of rage within hours of owning it.
it seems people will hit the disagree button with no common rationale behind the action. damn.
all these FPS's and shooters I was looking forward to for the PS3 and almost none of them end up getting 8.0's or higher from ANY reviews (which I still take with grains of salt): Turok, Conflict, Lost Planet, now Turning Point.....man, I hope Army of Two, Mercenaries, Brothers in Arms, Battlefield, Haze, KZ2, and Resistence 2 can excel...
Glad to see I'm not the only one who finds the white one ugly. Too Mac-ish for my tastes. I'll seek out a black one thank you.
"what Nintendo is selling here (both figuratively and literally). I think they grossly underestimated the demand for voice comms when designing their mac-influenced PS2"
Last I knew Nintendo had nothing to do with the design of the PS2.
Anyways, I think it's been said already, probably have nothing to hide, it's a matter of sensoring. Nintendo's not stupid, there's a reason they've stay in the game this long and never hit a slow spot.
Awesome news for another great game I've been wanting, but man that article gave me a headache. That writer has syntax and grammar issues, not to be a nitpick-grammar nazi or anything (I genuinely had a hard time following his words).
I completely agree with you (although the team from Rare 10 years ago isn't identical from Free Radical, it's close enough we can see from the results of Timesplitters). I get irritated by the "just another FPS" drivel, it gets old after someone rips apart a single screen shot and already talks as if they could write a 4 page review on the games mechanics.
for a while. Hopefully it doesn't succumb the movie to game conversion curse and bomb.
really want this game, I'm hoping it's all it could be with its potential. As for me, I don't think it looks average, but then again I'm a huge shooter fan and have a soft spot for them. But I hate to say it, this is no second rate developer. It seems people are overly harsh on shooters because they're common right now. I understand where people are coming from with the "dime a dozen" comments, but if the industry sees 30 shooters released in a year that doesn't mean that the quanti...
This could be the SKU/bundle I've been waiting for (I was waiting for the dust to settle since nobody knew what the hell was going on with the SKU lineup). I hope it comes out soon.
btw, the best way to find out about BC issues is Sony's site. I looked up all the PS2 games I'm interested in getting caught up on (Shadow of the Colossus, GOW2, Ark of Napishtim, MGS 3). It has all reported issues in a BC database and you can even select if you have the 60 or the 80 (which isn't r...
