and I also have problems following troll logic, because I saw him mention piracy, NOT game sales (sells to you), are you reading your own "responces" (mind you I purposely emulated your mispelling there)? When there's a larger install base, the game sales tend to be better, THAT is common sense. Get over it already, and stop twisting topics around.
found that to be a translation error, it should have only 1 touch screen, so there won't be a split market. I think this is important to note, it seems a lot of people missed that in the article. I still think with a PSP I won't get this upgrade, I like my GBA games even though I have a platinum GBA, I don't want to carry around two Nintendo handhelds, but I see other people here will love it, so I think it's obviously just another opinionated topic.
it will have internet browsing
but I was under the impression that Gears for PC sold decently (but not great). Also, people have to keep in mind 360 games are mostly made on the PC (run/tested on the 360), there isn't really much of a "port" to be done.
what are you talking about? What do DMC4 sales numbers have to do with anything? I always see the trolls take the most inconsequential topic and twist it into a flamebait. "What do you think about Sarah Palin?" "I hear she only plays games that don't have mandatory installs" Take off the blinders, you'll miss good games.
provided the dual touch screens is the only translation error they find
but despite some cool ideas, I think the omission of the GBA slot, even though it sounds like a physical necessity, makes this simply an alternate DS, not a better one. That's just my opinion though, based off the fact I also have a PSP and plan on getting the 3000 when it comes out. All the new additions this will have I already have elsewhere, either in the PSP, or my cell phone, with the exception of these "apps" which I have no clue about since it's still early. Sounds great tho...
something tells me even if it impressed you, the same words would have been typed. You just demonstrated you based your opinion on a complete lack of evidence and only on the fact it's the Wii. Do you judge people that way too?
We all understand it's not going to run Crysis, okay.
to justify their console choice I suppose will be said. For the record, I have a PS3 and PC, not a Wii, but if you look into the technology and stop the Gears 2 and Killzone 2 comparisons, and put other Wii games next to this game, it's more of an achievement. No, it's not going to rival the high end consoles' offerings, but it's pushing a console that is rarely pushed. That's the point. People complain about too much Mario and Pikachu, and when a game offers something else, they still whine....
much of fanboyism from any angle, it's kinda like console bigotry, but I have to say I feel this guy's point (the blogger, however narrow minded he may be) is he's trying to talk about the value as an investment, not that PS3 will always be on top of things. This is all subjective, you can't argue opinions, like debating the prettiest color. Simply futile.
I'd have to state that the PS3 has the same basic design, but the L2 and R2, as well as six axis have been a good step up...but why fix what isn't broken? They kept the same design, I'd imagine, because of 2 main reasons: 1, it's been a very successful console the first 2 times around, and 2, it's a Backwards compatible system, playing games from the first two iterations, so having a very similar controller fits well...I see no reason to wish that the boomerang style was used instead, it seem...
I may own only 1 this gen, but I don't put down the other 2, even if I bought the Wii instead I wouldn't put down the other 2 still, I just chose to go where my features were. But I disagree with the PS3 being for 8-16 year olds, last month had a massive poll of game owners in Game Informer, and PS3 owners were the oldest from what I gathered. Mostly mid 20's and above demographic...you're just going to find immature fanboys on any of the 3 sides, that's because immaturity has no loyalty. I t...
aren't that much more if you look around, $30 for many new ones, but I saw an Extended Cut THE PATRIOT on Blu Ray at Walmart, for example, for about $19, and it wasn't a sale either. Many sales flyers have them on sale too...I got 300 for $20 last week from Best Buy.
I honestly skipped his post once I saw his demeanor and (I'm not being harsh here, I think English may be a second language) I couldn't follow his writing. I'm being serious, not trying to bash him/her, but yes, it's narrowminded. Yes, cheap products sell, but so does "fun".
it's just not pushed too much for it's potential, because motion control is its focus. Why are people still under the impression it's just a Gamecube with Wiimotes? It's far from the leap that Sony and MS made, but they weren't going for that. The Wifi built in, more processing power (mostly speed), etc... it's obvious people are too narrowminded to do any research. Many people don't know it, but from what I've seen, the Wii is technically capable of HD (720p) in one sense, but Nintendo doesn...
I get your point, but I think that a good portion of the games on the PS3 lists are actually confirmed, but yeah I think some are perhaps rumored, but you took it out quite a bit further to make your point. I do however, admire your civil tone, good to see.
for a valid reason to not only bash on a console, but bash on people being MATURE about what they like about something.... OPEN ZONE, very easy to comprehend, your zone is elsewhere. I can't believe that someone actually feels "your systems tech is s**t" is a valid counter argument. Jeebez.
and it proves my point, it's what you want to get out of your system, me, I WANT a game system with a lot of the hardcore games and in HD, AND media playing abilities, Bluray, etc...so, it doesn't mean one console choice is right or wrong in general, it's specific to the consumer, what was right for their needs. If I have loads of fun with what I'm doing, how is it the wrong choice? Same with you Product, I can't say you're wrong either, you are getting what you want. This, my friends, is why...
I disagreed with you because I have a laptop and a PS3, and I don't feel that a simple harddrive upgrade is so bad, it's optional and cheap and easy. If I needed to max out the PS3 and upgrade it's RAM, RSX chip, add a cell processor, AND the HD, THEN I'd say you have a point. How is a hard drive upgrade for a console system any different than WiFi not being built in and having to purchase a $100 wifi adaptor, or having to subscribe to online gaming? I'm no fanboy (I think the 360 is a good c...
making no sense 8.1, but then again, fanboys rarely do. Move on.
