but I'm curious, anyone know if the battery packs will work with the new 3000 PSP's? I bought the 2200 mAMP (or whatever the term is) one for my 1000, and I'm curious, because the extra packs are good for backups....sounds nice though, but I'm still worrisome that an actual "2 point 0/2.0" will come out and have dual analogues and a 3000 purchase will be pointless, who knows if/when a "true sequel" will come out though...
it's not really a "mines better than yours", it's all about what you want to get out of a system, I like all the systems offerings, and want them all. The reason I broke down for a PS3 first, is the whole package, I can get a new 320GB hard drive in it, put all my standup comedians, digital copy movies, game clips/trailers, music, photos, etc... on it, I can play a BD movie, or an upscaled standard def movie, and most of all, I get HD gaming, local. Yes, I have a gaming laptop that ...
you are aware you don't have the confines of PSN to load up an HD with aren't you? I have stand up comedy and video game media alone that make 80 seem paltry...which is why I just ordered a 320 gb.
"I'm going to disagree with this guy, I don't know why, so I can't explain it, but I'm still going to disagree"
Biased lemmings.
it WAS built for motion control, with hardware that's above and beyond the last gen, but not nearly as powerful as this gen, the difference between what you're saying and what I'm saying is miniscule...I've never heard the 1/4th the power of a leap from last to this gen, Nintendo and other devs had reportedly stated that they were trying to get the Wii to almost be similar to an xbox 1.5 or PS2.5...meaning "around halfway" between gens. Spec-wise, I think it's around that, but game-...
the Wii was designed to be about half way between last and this generation. Looking at the game selection on the Wii, you can tell what Nintendo was going for, and obviously it wasn't polygon count, WHICH MAKES The Conduit all the more impressive and risky...fanboys need to leave the tunnel, the vision is obtrussive as hell in there...
Bubbles Shoko
people like you still don't get it...
A potential marketing sham? An announcement means nothing. It's PR and money. All big companies do it. Hell, people do it- makes the world go 'round. Could be right, could be wrong...but don't use an article like this as an in-stone basis for the truth...as it's been noted, Gears 1 wasn't supposed to exist on the PC, low and behold, it's sitting on my table for Games for Windows, between Orange Box and UT3.
how people disagree with my perception of something. Care to explain why you know what I inferred more than myself?
it says USB mini connection (PSP 1000 had it) AND USB 2.0? Meaning, it could connect to say, an external harddrive, flash drive etc...?
"The First Decade" has it, but you've gotta fork over a bit of money as you're getting like a dozen games or more (less?, I bought them all as originally released, so no need for me to get the compilation)
One was classic, 2 was even better. I've always liked Red Alert better than the original C & C, even though it's still awesome. I hope Tiberium does what Renegade was supposed to do, and more.
the point is that PS3's don't fault to the point where you should be needing a new one each year....I'm no fanboy, I want to own both, but each has some drawbacks, depending on how you look at it though, maybe one has more than another.
MS f-ed up and gave up on BC way too early, there's classics there still not on their stupid list that can play on the 360. Timesplitters Future Perfect won't work, but they made sure to have Cabella's hunting garbage function?!
I'm not gonna sell it to Gamestop to get $7 back.
but again, the "whoopty doo it breaks, send it back and get it back all better" argument doesn't work for me. You're trying to say "if it happens, no biggie, it's better after you do this" I shouldn't have to do "this", it shouldn't happen. Period. It's a great lineup of games and a cool online service, but for the reliability I want, I'm holding off a bit more. But yeah, I drool over some of those exclusives (I'll get one ASAP if a sick Perfect Dark sequel comes...
I was on the fence about which console to buy first, but went with PS3 only because of the hardware issues (and bluray and interchangable HD's, sorry but it's nice), 1 in 6 shot of busting, that's frightening. Doesn't matter that they'll fix it, the fact is I shouldn't have to go through that hassle in the first place, and that's assuming I can get it fixed because it was an RROD issue and not something else. I am NOT going to wrap a towel around the 360 just to make it an RROD issue either, ...
how did anyone "prove" anything? The interpretation of "videos" is not an exact science, why do fanboys (which I am not one of) seem to feel anybody can ever prove an opinion? I think the answer is that they feel they don't have opinions, only a mental storage of facts. This entire argument, to an extent, is like debating what color is the prettiest. It's not going to fly, and words intended to prove anything here hold no merit. Now you want to debate finite numbers or spe...
that it's about costs in a big way. Both consoles have great attributes....but it's very expensive for a publisher/dev to make a 3+ disc package, the royalties, etc...It's very expensive. I don't really know if this has affected games coming to the 360 thus far, as it's not really shown it's in need of a faster paced growth to it's catalogue, so perhaps it's not making a difference, but my point is it's very much about money and a lot less about disc swapping, which many of us are used to. ...
again, is playing the game the only way to know Max? That's the fun part, but that's not the only way, if he watches someone play through it for many hours the only difference from him and the guy who played through it is one had his hands on the keys/mouse and had control over where he moved Max....they both saw the same story and could understand the same emotions.
you're stating playing the game is knowing the character, that's not the only way though, he could watch a recording of the games being played through from start to finish, he could speak with Remedy like someone said, he could talk with the writers, sift through all the graphic novel images, listen to the monologues...etc...a game isn't the same as a book, a game can be played or watched or even listened to, a book can simply be read. I get what you're trying to say but some people here seem...
it's a pretty good value for it's entire package, it's a media hub/player/game system, and for that, $200 isn't too bad, the memory pro duo's though, make this space for media, somewhat difficult to get value out of. I have a Creative Zen Vision M, and obviouly GB for GB, a pro duo stick is costly as hell compared to any PVP....they have come down some over the last 2 years or so since I got my PSP. I think they've got up to like 8 GB sticks now.
