Loyal smoyal - I'll go where the best games and experiences are, and as with this gen, that proves to be multi-console focused. I can't do without my Uncharted's or my Gears of War's, and with the likes of The Last of Us and The Last Guardian on the horizon on PS3 these are gaming occassions I dare not miss.
As for Xbox, MS started strong on the exclusive front, and they'll no doubt need to do the same again with new IPs and sequels to established 'ex...

The original was, and is an amazing game. For a sequel I expect drastic changes, especially for Alan second outing to get the exposure it deserves, with any luck it might make those who missed out on the gem that is the first game actually give it a try.

Microsoft were once the 'daddy' of consoles for exclusives - those tables have long since turned. We need better and refreshing gameplay experiences built into new IP's -- as put off as dev's may be by the sales of Alan Wake, it's a game that needs to be taken.
Games on Demand - frankly has turned into a joke, and now Sony is leading in this area, offering more recent releases via. digital download on their console, big and more recent releases like Battle...
Redundant - perhaps for the 'hardcore', as to take use of the most appealing features one must be Kinected.

Looks good to me, and more importantly just reminded me that I still need to finish off Dead Space 2 amidst all the other recent releases!
The weapons fit within the story I think. Take for example the Retro Lancer, it may have featured first in Gears 3, though the weapon being "Retro" was apparently the main weapon of choice before the Lancer was created.
The questionable one would be the One Shot sniper, and, just remembered - the Sawed-off, I think the COG rightfully banished this during the era's that Gears 1 and 2 took place in. ;)
Things aren't looking too good.
Yup, it's rather expected though. The big sales usually hit within the first few weeks of a title's release, and if you're a new IP you better have some serious PR backing to even be noticed amidst the plethora of sequels that the community will already be familiar with, and thus throw their money at.
Whatever it does, it's got be drastically different to differentiate itself away from GTA IV and the DLC which that game saw, and it's unlikely we're going to see drastic changes to gameplay, so it will ultimately come down to storytelling and that's something Rockstar have proven they can deliver on.
The main thing is Bing, absolutely love it. On the flipside, users without Kinect, I think for them it's rather more cumbersome than the previous NXE.
Interesting sales spike. I've been bargain hunting over black friday UK side and did not spot any cheap as chips deals on Fable III, must have been going dirt cheap state-side though to outdo both Uncharted 3 and Gears of War 3.
Madness... still good for Kinect, am in awe that it's sold more than Modern Warfare during this period though.
Interesting... that's enough to put a few off trading in their old chunky whites for slimmer models no doubt.
People here on N4G will naturally tend to fall into the 30% odd who finish single player games. But the 70% who don't are more casual gamers.
The single player stories are obviously not gripping enough if 60/70% of people playing never actually see the ending.
This is where Kinect's potential can be fully exploited by gamers, no the waving of hands, but with controller in hard and interacted by voice - anything to make the experience more engaging would be mostly welcoming.
Selecting dialogue in Mass Effect 3 - they have this planned already don't they, what with the Kinect support already for the game. I twill be interesting to see it evolve further from here.
