This is the first Msxbox-world article in a long time that actually makes sense. Hence why I posted it. I've ignored all their other crap for a while now.
On topic: It's risky business but Sony are like the leaders in taking risks, and the rough with the smooth with new IPs. Fair play the them I say.
PS3 gamers can only win, Xbox gamers can simply weep or buy Kinect.
Yeah, there's nothing like a good flame-war to stir up interest from punters. And what better way to start such bitching than with dev's smack-talking each other!
This is not 3DS. I've been looking forward to 3D, but after Sony recent 2-player split/full screen showing I'm intrigued to hold out that little bit more.
Well, the world of Batman/Gotham City is not something I'd have associated with an FPS. This fact alone actually has me intrigued more than anything else.
Awesome.
Damn, I hope they're wrong.
As much as the other games will no doubt be great, the latest Deus Ex gets my attention, simply because it's something new. It might be a brand we're familiar with, though the presentation and gameplay options are enough to stick at the forefront of my mind, more so than another Mass Effect or Fallout.
Intriguing, nice PODCAST.
Well 8 players worked for Gears of War, just so long as the map design and gameplay is up to scratch, then Duke has the potential to deliver a quality mp experience.
Well, PS3 gamers probably have been buying more games recently to make up for their lack of online time on Call of Duty, Kilzone etc.
Some random wordpress blog posts this as a rumour with no evidence to support the claim and you lot believe it?
Nice drop, although Amazon has a better deal here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Son...
So it's over £30 more at £228, though this gets you the 320GB model and LittleBigPlanet 2, which is certainly more of a bargain compared to the £196 PS3 Slim 160GB, with nothing extra.
Where's the Halo fans at? Sure, it's a graphics comparison, but more importantly it's Map comparison.
I kind of like it, there's some good nostalgia in that video, whilst also getting to look at the classic map remade for Reach.
Looks cool. It's interesting also that Bungie have made many of these maps in Forge World itself, as opposed to doing them on PC (at least that's what they said in a previous Vidoc or two back).
Should be some good stuff, and obviously a lot of tripe, that comes from this. Meh, game is gold, they should just ship it already! ;)
I notice there's a screenshot from what looks like Test Drive Unlimited. Not sure I'd glass that game as 'great' per se.
/6 unusual. well to me anyway.
Lazy ass gamer. I love it. I wouldn't mind the price of the games so much if they could have them on the Marketplace near release. Being able to launch Gears of War 3 without having to get out of my chair (I want one of those chairs with a toilet built in some day), and navigate the dashboard and films with Kinect, I very much like the look and sound of that.
I love Halo CE, love Halo 2 multiplayer (hate campaign), like Halo 3 campaign and yet tire of Halo 3 multiplayer very easily. The Reach Beta was same old, same old for me, though I did enjoy the Invasion game mode when that launched.
I can't imagine a Halo shooter without Bungie, though it's clearly going to happen at some point if not this generation.
Most of those other games are third party developed titles and the AAA MS ones are just words at the moment.
Hopefully something more solid is announced regarding them at Gamescom'11.
