For some reason I just pictured Nathan Drake in a Batman costume...
Things are indeed not looking so rosey compared to years past.
Physical, smysical. I bet you're more than contempt with XBLA and PSN download games, Onlive is frankly an evolution of digital distribution.
I like to 'own' my games, and think Onlive should introduce a download option for those that wish to use it, whether it be due to their capped internet, or just playing said game so much that it makes more sense to have the data locally.
Nice list, Mass Effect 2 and RE4 remain on my must-play list.
Well, I know at least 100 of them... my friend's list. Everyone's playing it.
Might have to give this one a try-out.
RAGE looks like a corker of a title. Not sure I'll be buying any games for a while now, money would also probably be on BF3 for mutliplayer and co-op.
Can't wait. Gididy!!
The fact it's a zombie game will help it stand out from this over-crowded time. Still, I can't help but think the game would fair better launching in a quieter time.
Dead Island looks great, but with established franchises like Gears of War 3, Deus Ex, Resistance 3, Batman: Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Uncharted 3, Skyrim... heck I don't know about you lot, but the games coming out in the next month or two probably goes beyond what I would actuall...
We should really have screens viewable of themes before buying. I recently bought the Gears 3 theme and thought it was rather crap. Though maybe that's why they don't do screens, afterall?
Money, money, money is the big factor. It'll be interesting to see how immersive gaming can truly be with the addition of 3D, as for cinema 3D, some films have really benefited from the effect, hopefully it translates well in gaming.
Eh, what. I've got an image of Snake creeping around in a giant cake instead of cardboard box.
3D has the potential to be incredible here, more so than the recently announced Gears 3D even, as Epic added that in later in the game where we can assume 343 has been working these new visuals from day one with 3D in mind.
I think not. Halo 2's success came in the form of it's multiplayer feature set, and it's a title that we can think for the feature set that the Xbox 360 has today. The campaign out of all the Halo games was easily the weakest aspect here.
Go forth and bring on the Gears 3D :)
This is a game I hope really shows off Kinect in an opposite light for actual gamers, as opposed to all fluffy tigers and avatar racing.
It's the first though, which has me concerned. I'll need to watch this one before commiting I think.
I'm not worried so much... I can't get my bloody nephew off Call of Duty for the life of me.
Nice, will go through this when I get my bionic hands on the game.
3D in the classic Halo, now that's something to stir my interest following the Gears 3D announcement. Will have to wait and see, thus far in gaming it seems we are on the right track now on the 360 if Microsoft get both Halo and Gears supporting 3D.
Shame that the Metal Gear HD collection has delayed UK side 'til Feb 2012. Otherwise, sure, that would be a must-buy.
I'm quite surprised MW3 is not on the list, though the others are certainly titles of high interest. I'd personally have preferred EA to make Hot Pursuit 2, as opposed to The Run. HP was such a great and addictive game that deserves it's own sequel, which is something that can not be said for many games.
