That's cool. This is like the one thing more than any other that ORC has going for it, it's a nostalgic trip down RE memory lane, just mordernised and actionised (new word?).
I can't help but shake the feeling it's going to be rather pants, but the allure of 4-player co-op and other modes may just be enough to make it of interest as RE6 still feels so far, far away.
Metal Gear is not something I would normally associate with 'graphic' violence, although that seems to be the push of this rather select genre. I do enjoy a good hack n' slasher though, and am actually looking forward to both games to some degree.
Semi-looking forward to this, will give it a viewing and cross my fingers it has enough thrills and plenty of bloody spills.
Meh. I would argue that with the fact that I practically buy almost everything online with the exception of my weekly shop at Tesco.
I think the appeal really is the online shopping is just hassle-free, you can pre-order a game, and in some cases receive it 1 or 2 days before release, while everyone else bears the brunt of the weather for midnight launches. Early deliveries or not, it's still ultimately where the best deals are.
The only games I even reca...
Kinect's still very much a casual affair, and it does this quite well for the most part. Kinect Star Wars has always looked to be that same "casual" take on the universe, the big question is whether it's going to be any good or not.
Having said that, after playing the Mass Effect 3 demo with Kinect, it's nice to see the sensor be used in a way that can compliment our own 'hardcore' experience. I doubt we'll ever get a title deemed hardcore th...
I was ready to buy this, until a friend beat me to it, played it, completed it, and said it was crap. Maybe I'll ponder some more, as I did actually enjoy the trial.
Well, here's hoping. The E3 reveal, I think we've all probably realised that it was smoke being blown up our ass, much like Sony's old videos that pretended to be in-game; Killzone 2/Motorstorm. Yet what I've seen of Kinect Star Wars since E3 has looked frankly quite awful from both control and gameplay perspective. The light-sabring is obviously what we were all excited about, but, have they really managed to nail it now?
I'm not quite convinced, but read...
I'll be wanting to try it out still, would very much hope to play a demo though before coughing up the coin.
Them's fightin' words. Primarily it was both Game and ShopTo that I've used over the years. Game for all hardware, and the once in a blue moon bargain, and nearly all my games from ShopTo.
Not at all surprising, I just wish they would have thought about doing this when they released Resident Evil 4 HD on PS3/Xbox. Would have loved to have played that with the Move after all the buzz about the Wii version and that controller being the best way to play.
@NYC_Gamer You have no idea how hilarious your comment actually is... as it's widely been reported that GameStop may be buying Game Group out, so other than a name change it sounds like it's overpriced business as usual.
If it infects my Xbox disc tray, it'll be down to the allure of co-op play. I want to avoid this game actually, as I've a backlog of games that I've either yet to play, or just need to mop-op on.
The fact that I've spent max. 30 mins playing Capcom's Lost Planet 2, which besides the massive boss encounters, is a fairly similar games to RE: ORC in terms of the style of action combat and co-op play. If I can at least get through that before RE: ORC's rel...
I'm not too sure I've heard of it, though the mere mention of X-Blades... let's just say I remember the boxart at least.
Steel Battalion is high on my list now, makes a change to have something to look forward to from Kinect... not that there's not loads of titles, but still, a game that may be worth some anticipation at least.
I would guess so, and furthermore would assume something like this, or close to it is already doable on PC now.
I'd certainly expect the next Xbox to keep it's trend and likely be something of the equivilant of a mid-high end gaming PC by today's standards -- so much so I predict a PC port of Battlefield 3 to be a launch title, maybe they'll tinker the destruction that bit more, like this video? ;)
Female Fisher ftw. Surprised we've not heard of a new game already since Conviction.
Yeah, I'm certainly looking forward to RE6, more to the point I'd have had it in place of Assassin's Creed III.
New hardware is the attention grabber, and I think that gives Nintendo a pretty big advantage. I do not think Sony will have any PS4 talk, but more keep the pressure on with their exclusive games, and I expect more Remote Play announcements, and even something that acts as a Wii U clone, much like the PS Move ripped and bettered the Wii controls.
That Vita hand-held is essentially the equivalent of the Wii U tablet, and if you've got a PS3... hey presto!?

Games. Any new IP announced at E3 has the potential to impress. Something from Bungie, Insomniac or Respawn Ent. on the Xbox stage. Microsoft are great at showcasing exciting new multiformat games on their own stage. Seeing GTA V demonstrated on-stage, much like MW3 was last year, would be rather a coo.
Epic showcasing a modified version of Gears of War 3 running on next-gen hardware (or suped-up PC).
Halo 4 in the flesh seems a cert.
The doom and gloom of Game sticks out, at least our side of the puddle, and the subsequent bargains. I've already spent more at Game/GS on games this past week than I have since they've been opened (not counting hardware purchases).
