well Microsoft has said that you can still use, Your Purchased Items from the store. Now, I think, everyone advocating for more physical media I think, if you have got digital, it's very easy to make back ups of those.
Creepy Cram strikes again.
Luckily, if you're a PC gamer at least, if this were to happen, it would just create more sailors. Perhaps, that is the saving grace here. Not sure how console gamers can work it though.

Stellar Blade PC no?
A lot of hate towards the game due to the fact that.
1. No marketing
2. If you gonna associate "GTA" series with your game, then it has big boots to fill and puts an unnecessary target on the game's back.
3. Early press gameplay hands-on has been met with a muted response.
4. What has been shown thus far can only be described as "generic".
5. Game looks like a mash-up of Max Payne, GTA, Cyberpunk 2077.

The video is HDR hence why the playback looks off in SDR mode.
Yeh, that's why I wrote "Oops".
"The Police" reference shows yer age fella.

Neil Newbon - soon to be effectively replaced by AI which won't dish out its opinion at the BAFTA's when the game it developed wins the "best AI developed game" category. 2027.
Yeh, well noted. Audio visual is top-quality. But gameplay seems a little run-of-the-mill. Cookie Cutter. Erm, but...and maybe this is a thing for MS games (also in Atomfall) you can tailor the gameplay for bespoke fun and games. I actually like this and wish more games would do it. Interestingly, it was MS that introduced "Achievements" where things like this would void getting achievements in the past. But now they all play nice together. Who'd have thought eh.
@abriel Carmack recently commented about this too. It's not being lazy it's progression.
Think about when the wheel was invented. How that made people "lazy" not having to carry stuff manually. AI is a tool and should be 100% human monitored/controlled. It's when you decide to let it do ALL the work, you become lazy.
I HOPE, it is more like the tactical planning of the early R6 titles (Rogue Spear) rather than the OTT fantasy nature of Siege. They could really make a mission planning feature (similar to the older games) with this turn-based set-up. Fingers crossed. I don't hold out much hope though. Turn Based strategy caters to a different audience, but Ubisoft will fuck it up with MT and OTT fantasy characters and stupid skins/crossovers etc.
I already have Gamepass Ultimate, a lot of UBI games appear there. I got UBI+ for this month, to play ACS and Outlaws. I am going to assume once my month is up, they will no doubt come to gamepass soon. That still works out cheaper than buying ACS on Steam.
This isn't "news" this is pure speculation.
Yeh that 300 year difference counts for quite a lot.
@s2killinit depends how long you've been gaming for go back in time and you will see a massive difference in how lead female characters were presented compared to today. There has been a massive paradigm shift towards less sexualized female characters (not male) in Western developed video games due to a number of factors, but a big part of that shift is due to the fact that people who object, have gotten into roles where they can influence design choices and make decisions. It's not ...
Almost a 50/50 split on this rather silly comment, yet interestingly (and proving my point somewhat), the only people who are commenting, are the 50% who are in disagreement with it. The other 50% are staying silent. Sums it all up really who has the loudest voices and facilitates these changes.
After reading all that, I kind of feel like I don't need to play the game and just re-read the review. LOL.
I don't know. I actually like the game. I'm not sure what people expected, it looks really nice. It plays nice. Some interesting stealth sections, action seems OK. The lead character looks typically westernised and not very glamorous as you would expect (bring back Carrie Fisher, please). But no. I thought this game was pretty good for the month I played it on Ubisoft's subscription service. I hope it comes to Game Pass, hopefully I'll continue playing it.
