I wonder why they needed to ship 5.5m? Oh thats right, it's because they'd sold 3m in 12 days and retailers demanded enough copies to meet demand. Sony don't arbitrarily send shipments of games around the globe. They supply where there is demand. This whole story is moronic.
ah, you wrote it bold, NOW I understand...thanks
Sony gets paid for all those shipped copies. They've sold them to retailers. Theres obviously been enough demand to necessitate the shipping of so many copies. Why the need for all the debate
I thought that Kinect adventures came with Kinect, like wii sports comes with the wii..Am I correct in thinking this?
They've picked 5 games for the PS3 which gives an average score of 86%, but if they'd used Modnation instead of MAG, the PS3 would've beaten the Xbox 360 by 0.2% with an overall average of 87.2%...wonder why they didnt do that?
If you play this track on your copy of GT5 then you'll see there is a great deal of subtle and realistic detail in the grass textures, it's just not being picked up in the video due to the way the video is decoded
yes but they also simulate what it's like to play a game from 1999
Real life is crap, I just knocked a pot noodle over...Chicken & Mushroom
GOW3 was stunning. It is may favourite game of this generation so far.
Its the low quality shadow mapping. BTW I'd still give GT5 a 10 out of 10
I aknowledge many of the criticisms levelled at GT5 and I'm not going to try and defend the quality of standard cars or the ropey shadows or even the sub standard damage. What I will say is that where it matters, where it truly counts, GT5 is the most impressive driving game I've ever played. I don't mean the best arcade racer or crash simulator or best motion blur generator. When it comes down to the sheer pleasure of driving and maintaining these vehicles there is absoltely noth...
i didnt think motion controls had been confirmed.
I've read other hand-on sessions and they have called it an unplayable mess.
isnt this an old video from the best buy demo?
The motion controls in The Fight are brilliant, the iwaggle3D review supports this. The problem The Fight has is the poor game design decisions.
It's such a shame. You can see the motion detection is superb, it's just that the game gets in the way. Very simple design decisions have profoundly hampered the game. But a simple patch could fix nearly all of these issues. Please sony, get on the case.
so after half a week of sales, we've decided that it isn't a contributing factor in hardware sales? wow
So this company only makes cameras for Kinect? Surely several million are for other clients.
I dont understand. No analyst or news story ever says. "45 million xbox 360 sold - 15 million of which now do not work. some people are now on their 4th xbox, so nothing in this article is in the least bit relevant"
Half Life 2, best game ever, never mind FPS
