It's easily the best Zelda game Nintendo has put out since Twilight Princess. Its an evolution of the franchise that keeps its emotional and heartwarming immersion and atmosphere. Loved every second of playing it and so did hundreds who kept it the busiest floor demo at E3
Man people have really forgotten the sense of atmosphere in games huh, guess graphics is what makes that department shine. The emptiness (if you actually played the game) is there to create the sense of being in the wild, hate to break it you arm chair safari guides, but in the wild you don't have things at every corner. Don't even get the hate for this game, it easily deserved Game of the Show and if you plan on buying an NX this is a super easy choice.
Sony clowns be like I'd buy the Order at $60, but ReCore at $40?! NOO
Seems like people have a hard time understanding that platformers are exactly top shelf items nowadays. The price more than anything is to draw more consumers to it. Not to mention all the previews for this game have been excellent and Inafune is a legend in the industry.
Umm I'm pretty sure your 1080p TV will still see the improved draw distance, better aliasing, higher quality models and so on
You realize your still giving your money to the Xbox department at Microsoft right? They thank you for your purchase kiddo :)
Ouch you might kill some egos with this comment.
Wasn't Sony the one touting, the " most powerful console" as their marketing slogan? Last I checked Microsoft never banked on power cause they knew they were underpowered in the market. They focused purely on services and features
Pretty sure he's referring to Duscae as that explore the open world aspect a lot better.
Not surprised you'd get that many up votes N4G is riding Sony pretty hard. But Zelda blew God of War off the stage, play it in person and you'll understand that its essentially art made into a video game.
Gears 4? I mean its def impressive, but Zelda is on another league. Its atmosphere, level of immersion, diverse gameplay and beautiful hand-drawn graphics. Make it art bro not just a video game, it convinced me alone to buy an NX at launch.
It had the biggest lines for the Demo and for good reason, it is a marvel of a game and easily worth a console ownership. Nothing at E3 comes to close, good choice IGN
Or you could out-source the PS4/One ports and have the main developers work on the Neo and Scorpio versions. Just matters on how much 3rd party developers want to spend on production, along with the time in production as well.
@10th
Based on rumors, its power is close to the Xbox One, which isn't all that great. I expected Nintendo to at least match or beat the PS4's prowess.
It's fine to not match the Neo or Scorpio, I don't expect Nintendo to deliver on that end. But by all means it should be more powerful than the PS4, I mean come on, thats dated hardware by now. Even at 1.96 TFLOPs, I have no doubt their first-party studios can bring amazing work.
Why are you getting disagrees? lol is there a problem with being happy to own a license on two platforms?
Actually what Microsoft is trying to do is make Xbox an extension of Windows 10. They'll keep the console gamers, I doubt a majority will now jump ship to PC now. But more so about getting PC gamers, as the idea is "hey you got all these games on your PC, enjoy your library and media in a cheaper and more traditional setup". Kinda like what Apple did with Apple TV, essentially selling it as a media hub/ extension of iOS and Mac products.
Why do people even ask this question? There will be no such thing as an Xbox exclusive, all of their games are going to be on PC as well and will feature cross-buy and cross-play
Yup and in your imaginary world the Neo is going to have 100 TFLOPS of power as well, take that Microsoft!
Sure the tech enthusiast and the round of gamers who buy the best in the console market ( hardware wise) but both companies have loyal fan bases and more so with PS being the primary choice this gen. I doubt you'll have the majority switch sides, that'll mean leaving their friends behind and that rarely happens
If you're going into Zelda with a Witcher 3 or Skyrim mentality, you will hate it. The game has a tons of spaces where you do nothing but take in the visuals and atmosphere. Its open world isn't designed to be expensive and filled with things to do, its to space out the adventures of this Link into a "wild" experience, where things aren't predictable. Basically think Twilight Princess w/ more variety in the world design and a focus on simply enjoying riding through the w...
