Right cause they're going to go back and upgrade the GPU last minute, as if its that easy. You can boost the RAM and uplock certain speeds. But its inevitable, Microsoft will have the more powerful mid-cycle upgrade.
The King has spoken and his game of choice is Destiny. Buy it now peasants...no seriously to those who still complain about the game. Its a very good game now and your The Taken King purchase, has more content than Overwatch and COD combined.
Uhh no they're both mid-cycle upgrades. Microsoft just doesn't want to be the idiot once again with the out-dated hardware and thus went the steroids route and is overhauling the GPU/CPU
The NX looks to be a at least 5x bump in power so thus I can see a doubled frame-rate coupled with added effects. This game will be an amazing way to launch a system. A GOTY tier game coupled with 3rd party support and Nintendo can get back on track
I'll take it! That's a game right there :)
But they did address hardware, they literally show cased games running on their VR headset coming this Fall. They're not stupid enough to showcase the Neo at an event in which their competitors unveiled a more powerful mid-cycle upgrade. They focused on software which is smart, since for them the selling of hardware isn't an issue
@Xi
Total BS
Days Gone, GoW, Detroit, Horizon did not have floor demos. They had closed door presentations and that is it. Stop with the fanboy shit bro
It won't cut on sales, those who will buy on console will buy on console, however you now have a 32 million plus user base you can draw from.
The whole idea is "extension" Apple did this with their iOS and Mac set up with Apple TV. And Microsoft is trying to do the same for Xbox consoles. They're primary market isn't PC owners, its console gamers and newer customer bases. If it so happens to be that those heavily invested in the Windows family buys another device thats basically free money on them. Personally I know a couple hardcore PC gamers who are buying a Slim for their library to be extended on to the living...
Majority of console owners do not also game on PC. The console market has always survived on simplicity, price and social features. Meaning the point of owning an Xbox One comes from the exclusive games that aren't on rival systems. No one cross shops an Xbox with a good gaming PC, if you're in the market for one you're seeing where your friends are playing and buying that unit. Not to mention price as often the winner tends to be the one with a cheaper offering
Cue the " there's no reason to own an Xbox One anymore"
Yup I forgot when you buy a PS4 you magically get a good gaming PC along with your purchase, silly me. Nonetheless its got for developers and MGS, there is now a significantly larger market for Xbox titles to reach and thus Microsoft will even that much more incentive to invest in their gaming portfolio. Not to mention most console gamers stick to being console gamers, I own a $1500 iMac so I can easily ...
LOL you sound like a broken fanboy record
Good thing they got The Coalition which drew out enough power from the Xbox to make Gears 4 a UE4 showcase title.
@Dragon
For me personally none of my friends play on PC. For me gaming is a social experience and thus if I can own a more powerful console while still being able to enjoy games, i'll take it. Not to mention all of my consoles are in social areas in the house (den room, living room etc) and thus its just more convenient and much simpler.
Oh me me
1. Dying Light
2. Dead Island
3. Dead Island: Riptide
4. Dead Rising 3
5. Rust
6. Day Z
And those are just zombie open world fast paced games. Decent as most of those are above 70 on Meta
@darth
Yes your bike can run out of gas and it can also suffer from mechanical and damage failure. Think Sons of Anarchy meets The Walking Dead, it's interesting. The closed theater presentation was boring, but this seems like a game thats a lot more fun to play and experience than watching.
And now they can prove to me that with better hardware I can get even better visuals
I forgot that all PS4 owners suddenly have a $600-700 PC. Makes the Xbox completely worthless
@RPG
These ADD children on N4G need a fetch quest every corner bro, they can't comprehend games that immerse a player based on atmosphere and not the detail of the world, thanks to high tech graphics engine.
@gamerswin24
The whole "your rumors are wrong" work both ways buddy, how do you know that production hasn't started? In the end neither of us are completely right. Difference on my end is that there are hordes of rumors pointing at plausible specs of the Neo, including reliables ones such as DF, Giant Bomb and so on. Hell they even guessed Microsoft's Project Scorpio and even the 6 TFLOPs statement.
