Check out Kotaku's articles on promises kept by Microsoft and everyone else.

Spoiler alert Sony has more unfulfilled promises than Microsoft at the moment

There's one new strike on Xbox and 2 on PS. Along with the usual remixing

Bro this is content coming 2 years after launch, in no way was this supposed to be on disk. You can say that about the 1st 2 packs, but this one? Ahh no lol the new social space wasn't even in concept when Destiny launched in 2014. As for the value, at $30 its a much better value than most map packs or expansions for shooters. This is priced at the equivalent of two DLC map packs for BloPs 3 and it offers more content. In comparison to the Witcher 3, once you beat the quests what are you ...

Actually no the Iron G Horn is a pre-order bonus exclusive to the pre-order, the regular G Horn will be available for everyone to use again.

It's funny though Microsoft has had more first-party products come out from their studios than Sony this generation, but keep drinking your kool- aid. Nintendo isn't even comparable they rely on exclusives alone to sell the system and thus why it beats both Sony and Microsoft. But money hatting is the name of the game, everyone does it. Calling it pointless makes no sense because it doesn't effect you as a consumer if you own the product lol

Man they are going hardcore on this every game will be available for PC and Xbox thing...but as I said before to make this successful they need to make the Xbox One even cheaper, not more expensive. It has to fight the prices of Apple TV and Roku while keeping cheaper than the PS4 as well.

Difference is, one is a launch title, the other was in the oven for years

What has the other companies gotten through money getting? SF5? That game was average at best

3650d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Falls in line with what seems to be Microsoft's goal, which is a unified store with PC as a extended arm of Xbox and vice versa. If they were smart they'd launch a diskless Xbox One slim at $150

Though the Order was mediocre, I actually do want to see this game get a sequel, as the world lore is pretty interesting.

PS is the only station

Why is there no Beta for this game? Its primarily online based so I'd be great to be able to try out the title before a purchase. Hopefully Sony has it on their show floor this year at E3

Of course, chances are your PS4 has more friends owning and playing on it, simply because its the more popular unit. Even here in the U.S, I work at a GATE after school program for middle schoolers and most of my kids are PS4 owners. ( Owned only a Wii last-gen) So thus it does work against them and why the PS4 continues its immense success, friends of friends are saying "yo buy PS, I don't got Xbox"

@spectre_

Funny though that even PS's biggest exclusive doesn't scratch the worst COD in the 8th generation ( Ghost). The market doesn't behave the way it did back in the PS2 era. The PS3 was a major success not because of its exclusives, but due to it boasting more media features and free online. Exclusives do attract a certain crowd, but not the vast majority of gamers. Once again if you can show me Infamous Second Son or Knack or DC or The Order selling more ...

Bethesda's Gamebryo engine is far easier to code and optimize for a Direct X based machine, the engine itself has old code that doesn't match the scaling ability of newer engines ( iD Tech 6, Frostbite 3 etc.). Thus when you're making it on an Open GL platform it really doesn't take advantage of the hardware. Not to mention the actual difference in the hardware is marginal and thats if you code on GNM

3652d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

@Jman2

Bro Gamebryo is outdated garbage lol..Bethesda has the toolkit and development team for iD Tech 6, though its not designed for open-world games. I'm sure a modified version of that engine is the way to go for future Skyrim/ Fallout titles.

3652d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Its not about incentive to sell, their games will sell regardless. Hence why they don't give a shit, the reason the One version runs better is cause Gamebryo is far easier to code and optimize for a Direct X based machine over an Open GL one.

Now imagine a universe where Bethesda has to deal with 2 PS4 models and 2 Xbox One models

OH the glory for gaming...I can't wait!
